Great Monitor For The Price

Twodognight, Amazon
14 May 2014
  • Summary: Received and set up this monitor yesterday. Setting up was not that difficult though I had to use the DVI connection before switching to HDMI like other people stated in their reviews. Once I did, the monitor reset with crystal clarity. The colors seem fine to me once I selected theater mode. I did have to adjust the brightness setting down to 45 for comfort level.

I'm happy with this monitor

AD, Amazon
25 April 2014
  • Summary: I had to reduce the brightness and contrast to like 40% because it is too bright for me. Does not have a built-in audio amplifier and volume control, just pass-through speakers. My on-board audio apparently doesn't provide amplified output for speakers. If plugged into Line-out you can barely hear it. My old monitor had a 1W amp. in it, a $2 addition. I'm taking one star out for that. Otherwise, I can't complain.

  • Summary: If you wanted a decent 24" monitor screen with a 2ms response time then this is a nice choice. There is actually a game mode setting. I'm not sure if that will decrease the response time by much but I bet you won't even see the difference at this point. I don't use this screen for much besides the additional workspace while I have multiple applications running or hooking it up to my PS3 to play games so I'm fairly satisfied.

A reasonable quanity LED monitor

Genuine "Be kind to the earth", Amazon
8 May 2013
  • Summary: My plan was to replace my 7yr old 20" LCD DELL Ultra-sharp monitor. I received it last night, a day earlier than Amazon indicated. I am happy with the picture quality... ABSOLUTELY no dead pixel at all. If it were not for the following 2 minor issues, I would have given it the 5 star ratings: 1. tiny speaker (I should have known it as on Amazon site, it says 1W speaker). The sound is tiny despite having the volume turned to 100%.

Awesome Monitor!

  • Excerpt: I use this as an external display for my Macbook Pro! amazing colors super sharp, all around gorgeous imagery. The built in audio is rubbish. I don't mind though because I never use it. I mostly use the monitor for gaming/photo & video editing/ graphic design. If I had one complaint I would say adjusting the screen settings is a pain. The screen being bright, I can't see the icons above the buttons to adjust the screen brightness and so on.
  • Pros: Easy to Customize, Easy to Navigate, Versatile
  • Cons: Not Enough Audio Tools

Very nice monitor

Daniel Cardin, Amazon
9 March 2013
  • Summary: Let me say first, that this monitor can take a really long time to calibrate correctly. To be fair, most monitors probably look like s*** out of the box, but I've been fiddling with the settings on mine for about a week now. It took me probably 45 minutes to get it decent, and before writing this review, I saw someone posted their settings, but the lack of being able to have preset settings (which I wouldn't really expect on any monitor) makes it sort of hard to compare...
