Great monitor for the price, there are fixes for common problems
24 July 2015
Summary: For $150, this monitor is a steal for the features and 1080p resolution. The colors look a little washed out, but it's just a matter of getting used to. There are fixes to this problem and many others: Ghosting: Set "Trace Free" to 40 in the monitor settings.
Summary: I'm a software developer, which means I need a screen I can stare at for hours and not go insane. I tried using HD TVs as monitors but found most to be either dim or fuzzy. I settled on this Asus monitor because I generally like their products and this monitor has both a VESA mount and HDMI input in...
Summary: Four stars only because while this monitor works beautifully for a very reasonable price, after I installed it, it refused to work at all until I disconnected the HDMI cable from my NVIDIA add on to my TV. I called Asus (Asus customer service speaks American English!
Summary: The monitor works great. I only gave it 4 stars because the Key Features section above claims that it comes with Picture-in-Picture mode to see 2 different inputs at once. This does not appear to be the case.
Summary: Standard HDMI cable needed to use on board speakers. Sound quality not the best but it frees up space on a small desk to not have external speakers sitting out. Setup was easy, DVI, VGA, HDMI ports for whatever you want to use.
Summary: Beautiful! I got one to use at work and another to use at home. Amazing screen size, clarity, brightness and vivid color at this price range. I'm in IT, so I'm on my computer all day long and I have to run multiple programs at once, including Remote Desktop into various servers.
