Summary: We bought two of these monitors in April for our new office...didn't get them set up until September because desks didn't arrive. By the time we got them out of the box, one worked great; the other wasn't centering, everything was off to the left and it wouldn't adjust. No way to fix it. Amazon wouldn't take it back -- brilliant 30 day return policy -- so we're left to negotiating with ASUS.
Summary: I've had 2 ASUS laptops and was always pleased with the quality of the ASUS products but I had this monitor repacked and on its way back to Amazon within 3 days of receiving it. There was nothing wrong at all with the video portion - it was clear and crisp with a sharp picture - but the audio was abysmal.
Summary: I have used ASUS other products in the past and have been reliable. Have an existing Asus monitor purchased primary for the 16:10 as the primary monitor and bought 228H as the secondary monitor as vertical mount. Primary reason a low score is it unusable viewing angle on vertical oriented viewing.
Summary: I was looking forward to receiving my new monitor to serve as a second (slave) off my laptop in my home office. I mounted it on the swivel arm attached to my desktop ready to go, then found the monitor had been incorrectly manufactured -- the outside case was installed in such a way as to prevent insertion of any of the plug in cords: power cord, HDMI cord, DVI, etc. -- it looked as if the manufacturer had totally missed any quality check.
7 Dead Pixels Including 2 Bright Red Ones Right In The Center Of The Screen
30 August 2012
Summary: It looked good out of the box but mine showed signs of poor quality control with 7 dead red and blue pixels. Be sure to load up an all black screen and check it for random dots when you first get a monitor to see if you got a lemon. UPDATE: I sent it back for a replacement but ASUS sent it back claiming there were no dead pixels.
Summary: Worthless monitor if you want to use HDMI, HDMI didn't work, tried 5 different cables and those all worked fine on other monitors, yet the PC will see the monitor, but the monitor won't process the signal.
Summary: This is not an LED as the headline title. Look at the product description, and it says LCD. Then look at the advertisement and it says LED again. I told Amazon about this, but they still haven't changed it. Price is too high for an LCD.
Summary: In der Bezeichnung (Header) steht DVI.
