Excerpt: Bought it sight unseen as these 5: 4 monitors are not in stores any longer having been replaced by widescreen. Took a chance on it being a matte finish screen which it was. (too many monitors now have glossy screens which are useless in a brightly lit space).
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Matte Finish Screen, Onboard Power Supply, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Excerpt: Pro; I wanted a 4:3 ratio monitor with built-in speakers. Asus VB198T-P 19 LED LCD Monitor fit the requirement. CONN; Not able to balance color to match printed color reference and minimal adjustment for tilt front to back ... must use prop under stand to get the right angle for proper viewing.
Summary: Beautiful vivid color & great detail, I needed a smaller monitor to fit in my roll top computer desk, and this one fit the bill, I was pleasantly surprised when I saw the color & the crisp bright detail, pretty happy about this purchase, would buy this one again
Summary: I had an old, square monitor as a second monitor, suspended on an extendable arm that I quite liked that came in handy for using Word or browsing the web while playing a video game on the other monitor. When it unexpectedly died, I discovered that very, very few monitors are now made that aren't widescreen. I don't have anything against widescreens - my main monitor is a 25" widescreen - but a second widescreen monitor simply wasn't going to fit my existing setup.
Except for switching input modes...a great monitor

Summary: To switch from a DVI to an Analog input, you must cycle through the menu system...numerous steps. (Other monitors I use have a distinct "quick button" to accomplish this.) Other than the menu system to make the input switch, this looks like a great monitor.
