Summary: All in all, for the ~$350 I spent on it, this is an excellent monitor. The DisplayPort keeps it from being a natural 5 egg, but I can't pick 4.5 egg. If you want to get into the 21:9 without killing the bank, I'd recommend this in a heartbeat. Just make sure you have a DVI or HDMI cord handy.
Pros: This monitor is pretty solid, I've been using this as my only monitor for almost a year now and I've been extremely pleased, especially with the more than reasonable price. The colors are nice and vivid (IPS for the win) and the response time is pretty good for an IPS. I didn't use the base for v...
Cons: The DisplayPort acts strange. If the monitor goes to sleep, it won't regain signal when it wakes up. I switched to using DVI and I've had no problems at all. HDMI from my laptop works properly too. The backlight is slightly uneven as well, but this is pretty common across all 21:9 monitors, so it...
Summary: If you are not buying this for FPS games, I would look at other options at the same price point that offer more screen real-estate. At the same time, this is the only monitor I have ever seen that is comfortable for productivity as a single monitor. I personally love this monitor.
Pros: - BIG - Adjustable stand - Aspect ratio give one a major advantage in FPS games due to a wider view.
Cons: - Expensive (the only reason it lost 1 egg) - Aspect ratio does not work well for all menus inside applications. Sometimes things are chopped. Not really the display's fault since more and more users are working with multiple screens to achieve extreme aspect ratios.
Summary: Great monitor, nice FOV. Perfect for gaming. Bf4 looks so nice on this. Pricey, but its a good monitor. The glow isn't that bad and doesn't hurt gaming or tv, especially since its off to the side, and its a ultra wide monitor so it wont be the center point of your view.
Pros: Beautiful colors, ultra wide design makes FOV in games so amazing. Love the stand on this monitor as well, very sturdy, no wobble, and the height adjustment works great. No dead pixels, and no backligtht bleed, but there is alot of annoying glow
Cons: Glow - this monitor has horrible glow on the screen, which some would also call Viewing angle. There is no back light bleed, but many could confuse the glow with backlight bleed, and its just as annoying. You can tell the difference because backlight bleed is static, the glow changes and moves ar...
Pros: excellent for gaming and love the aspect ratios regardless. the dell option is also good but its not as response if you will be gaming on this monitor. diablo 3 looks and runs nicely on the widescreen
widescreen movies and gaming a big plus with this monitor!

Summary: first off, hats off to newegg for a super-fast delivery! Everything game intact, aside from the outside of the box being slightly worn and dirty, the packaging kept the monitor safe ;) If you're into photo editing and are on a slight budget, this monitor will do the job very well.
Pros: *it's from ASUS (been using their products for years with assuring quality) *ultra-widescreen display *pretty solid when gaming (played Battlefield 4 and TitanFall, very little input lag if any, no ghosting so far, good color accuracy, and gaming with this monitor will have you looking at gaming ...
Cons: *Their is actually a border around the screen that measures close to a centimeter of thickness, which would let down some people who would expect this to be somewhat "borderless". (at first it somewhat bothered me, but now I got use to it and don't notice it much at all now) *not 120hz (for the g...
Summary: What's better than a wide screen? ULTRA-Wide! ASUS nailed it when they rolled out this monster. My only complaint, and it is a small one, is that it auto switches inputs when it looses signal.
Faded Corner Viewing but Otherwise Good Picture - Great Stand

Summary: Good picture, expect for back-light glow in the corners. This really knocks in down a peg for me. I thought buying an IPS monitor would mean a consistent viewing experience from all parts of the screen, but the corners fade a bit from a central head location. The stand is top notch though.
