Excerpt: very nice IPS monitor, colors are beautiful no matter what angle you view it at. Has pretty much any type of connection you want to use and even comes with cords for I think all of them. The only downside would be the integrated speakers aren't the best quality but then what would you expect? overall I would definitely recommend to a friend.
Excerpt: I may buy an another, identical, as the monitor is fantastic. I did not expect this quality for the price - a great value. This monitor is used for video, photo, audio editing as well as web design and small business. I had to opt to have my graphics board control the color settings as the ASUS settings were too dim/over saturated for my needs. I was happy to have that option. No problem with dead pixels. Packaged beautifully. Arrived on time.
Pros: Adjustable, Easy To Set Up, Lightweight, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Excerpt: For a budget design monitor you really can't go wrong with the PB238Q. This is the 4th LED style monitor of the style/price that I've used for design work in the past 5 years, and my current favorite. For comparison, I actually purchased and returned the ViewSonic LED "Design" monitor in the same price range a few years ago because of the terrible blue hue cast that it projected at any slight viewing angle.
Summary: This is a great monitor for the money. There's two things I especially like about it: the IPS screen and the great stand. Let's start with the screen. It is nice and bright, and has a nice matte finish that doesn't glare. I have a Lenovo Thinkpad W520 which also has a beautiful IPS screen, and my hope was to find an affordable 2nd monitor to use alongside it. This is about "95% there", in other words, "plenty good!" And then there is the stand!
Summary: I purchased this monitor, for general home use, to upgrade an Asus ML228H that was 2 1/2 yrs. old . I purchased the Used-Like New unit and it is like new.( At the time I also saved $40 over new but the price has gone up recently). Many of the features are the same or similar. I like the vertical adjustment of this model and the stability of the stand. I don't find the "utilitarian appearance" bothersome. In fact, I like the clean simple lines.
Excerpt: I was looking for a new monitor to replace my older 19" model. The 23" was a nice upgrade. Along with the size the monitor has every single port you could need HDMI, VGA, DVI, and DP. The monitor also comes with built in speakers which are decent, just don't expect to watch any streaming movies with them. For the average user this monitor can be just a plug and play. For the more video proficient folks you will definitely want to play around with the color settings.
