Great picture for the price - I also have the high pitch noise, but a workaround...

Summary: Also very please with the picture it produces, especially if you feed it a 10-bit signal (I use the Blackmagic Design "mini monitor" for this). I also get the infamous high pitch power supply whine, but only when I turn the display off using the front button, while leaving the rear-bottom power supply switch on. While the monitor is actually being used, I don't notice any noise. To me, this is a very unprofessional characteristic.
Summary: I like it! The screen size, the color reproduction, the stand, the controls... but it does have an audible buzz. The buzz is way more audible when I plug in an USB device... bummer. I no longer use the usb because of it, good thing I bought it for the image/color quality. No complaints there. I've gotten over the buzz and it doesn't bother me anymore.
This monitor on unboxing reeked of a strong chemical smell. Anyone else experience this? But I do like the screen.

Summary: I've never had a monitor(or actually any electronics that I've ever bought) have such a strong odor. It's a chemical smell, like a strong paint or turpentine(not saying it exactly smells like that, but it's strong like that) and the smell filled the room where I unboxed it. The smell has calmed down quite a bit in only 4 days, yet I'm not sure I'm going to keep the monitor for this reason. Anyone's monitor have this odor problem? Please feel free to leave comments.
Excerpt: This screen is just right for my needs - photo editing as an enthusiast photographer. Size is right, matt finish does not throw back lots of reflections, it renders clear and bright and the colors are right on. Much preferred over my 22" Ultrasharp 2209WA Dell.
Pros: Great picture quality, Large Viewing Area, Minimal Reflection, Reliable Performance
Summary: It has a beautiful picture and easily connects. I love the 4 USB 3.0 ports. The controls are difficult to distinguish since there is almost no contrast on the buttons. A major improvement would be some back-light on the controls. It is a solid monitor that is quality built.
Excerpt: I primarily use this for photography and it has great sharpness and color reproduction. I really do like that it is color calibrated at the factory, even though i haven't used a third party system to check it. I've found the menu system very useful along with the 4 usb 3.0 ports. I'm thinking about buying another one.
Pros: Adjustable, Connectivity, Easy To Set Up, Sharp Image, Vivid Colors
Summary: Brought this as a second monitor. Its a great buy although somewhat expensive, be sure to price match if your buying it. Screen turns on quickly and has great colours. The bezel is also thinner compared to the Asus Pa246q, and no red swipe.
Pros: Great image quality, viewing angle, Ability so swivel/adjust height quickly
Summary: I like this monitor a lot. I primarily use it as a secondary monitory displaying mail, chat and web stuff. There's a bit of forward ghosting I notice on text while scrolling with the mouse that has been described elsewhere, apparently this is common on LCD displays.
