Summary: I'm just an average user, I purchased this display mainly for photography, possibly a bit of gaming. NCIX was bang on! called in to place the order on Monday and the display showed up on Tuesday AM, great service. What was really interesting when doing my research the monitors I looked at where ASUS, Dell, HP and Samsung.
Pros: Great screen for the money, no dead or stuck pixels, well packed and came with all cables, good warranty. Great service from NCIX
Summary: I've had this monitor for over 6 months and it continues to "WOW" me everytime. I use it to play "war commander" and view photos that I take with my Nikon. I subscribe to the ideology that "bigger is better" and in this case it is! I'd of got a 27", but the prices are up there. This 24" is just the right size for sitting in front of it. I like the fact you can rotate the monitor 90 degrees to view photos in portrait mode. WOW!
Summary: This monitor is just great. + WUXGA or 1920x1200 - 16:10, more vertical space than 1080p. + IPS - no glaring when viewed on sharp angles. + Non-glossy - keeps fingerprint and glare away. + Vertical mode - easily rotate this vertically. + Powered 4-port USB 3.0 hub. + Lots of video connection options: VGA, HDMI, DVI, DisplayPort. + Professional looking, + Cheap monitor, great quality. + Ruler markings, for that precise angles. × Half-inch bezel.
Do not hesitate, this is the best monitor at this price point!

Summary: I'm an amateur photographer/gamer and have been looking for an upgrade from my old HP lcd monitor (1050 lines of resolution). The difference is amazing, I think I spent more money on the HP and the ASUS is 100X better. Out of the box this thing will wow. I can edit my photos much easier, tons more space on my desktop, and the colors are accurate.
Summary: This 24' inch monitor is almost double the price ($300) of the other mainstream monitors (about $150). The following are the benefits of this monitor vs. mainstream monitors. - IPS display (instead of TN regular TFT) provides better and more accurate color, wider viewing angle, and better display quality in general. - higher resolution 1200 lines (instead of 1080 lines). If set at 110% in Windows or Chrome browser, then the text is about the same size but sharper.
Summary: It's a great display, works flawlessly with my Retina MacBook Pro using the Cable Matters Gold Plated Mini DisplayPort | Thunderbolt to DisplayPort Cable in White 6 Feet and you can't beat the price, it is a really great value. I've been using this Display with my 15'' rMBP and and an older 13'' MBP and it works extremely well.
Summary: Asus PA248Q has been a great monitor. I've used for a few months now and have been happy with how it performs. The image and color is very good. It feels very solidly built. The stand has height, tilt, swivel and rotate options, which are nice to have. But in actuality once I positioned this monitor where I wanted I haven't felt the need to adjust those at all. I use the menu button a lot to adjust the brightness up and down, these button controls feel very solid.
Summary: This is our first new monitor in eight years. I wanted to make the right choice. So I researched my reasonably priced choices. .I have no regrets with this choice. The picture quality is great. .. even regular photos blown to full screen size.
A great monitor if not satisfied with Asus VS248H-P

Summary: I received my Asus PA248QA a few days ago and just had time today to unpack it. Here are my first impressions. I purchased this monitor for watching movies and programming. I have no interest in games so factor this into my review. I purchased this monitor after returning an Asus VS248H-P, reasons for which I will elaborate on later in this review. 1. Packaging: Box is solid and very large. This is because the stand takes so much space.
