Excerpt: So my 2011 imac screen stated acting up on me and wouldn't let me brighten it past 3 bars without it going black and as a photographer this is unacceptable. I wasn't going to spend $ repairing my screen so I did some research on the PA248Q noticed it had very good reviews. I was a bit skeptical at first thinking how can this $ monitor at 1920 x 1200 be as good as my iMac screen. It's actually BETTER. I was really impressed with the color accuracy.

Summary: A friend has a 24" monitor and we liked it. When we needed to replace our old one, I started searching for 24" models and found this one among others. It may be more than we need for general use but that's okay. Great price and quick shipping are a bonus. We are really happy!
Excerpt: Very good product. The colors were accurate. The only thing I had to do was to change the color profile to standard RGB in Windows 8 Color Management and delete all the rest profiles being associted with the device. I am planning on calibrating the monitor with color munki. Let's see if this produces good results.
