Summary: WARNING: This is NOT a PA238Q for sale, it is the PA238QR for sale. This is a different model entirely. Read comparisons between the two carefully before you buy. ALSO, this box came extremely dirty and taped over several times.... obviously it was returned and badly stored. Buyer beware!
Summary: Good buy if you want an ips color accurate screen for cheap but don't want to buy one of those reject panels.
Pros: Number one pro is the price for what you get. Looks great, colors are good, and stand is the best stock stand i have had the pleasure to use.
Cons: I deduct a star for the back light, as others have mentioned its not the best but I haven't had much of a problem with it. You get great quality for the price, but that price is low, and this is its main point of weakness,
Summary: Two years ago I bought one of these monitors to play as my second monitor with my iMac. About a month back I upgraded to a Mac Mini and needed a second display and decided to go with another one of Asus's Pro Art series monitors.
Summary: The considerable bleed through on the lower right side of the monitor was noticeable enough to render it unacceptable. This is a common problem with this model and Asus is aware of the issue. Item was returned.
Summary: I've become addicted to having an extra monitor for my laptop at one location, the ViewSonic VP2655wb 25.5" pivot LCD. Summary: On 5th of May I bought ASUS PA238Q monitor from Amazon.co.uk. I chose this monitor because I am a software designer and sometimes do some UI design works. The other reason was that I am sensitive to backlight PWM flickering issues and it was reported by many review labs that PA238Q has high PWM...
Summary: I've been working quite a bit and just now had the time to issue a RMA request. It's going to cost me $28.03 to send this monitor back. I was going to try a second one but changed my mind when I seen Newegg was out stock. I don't think I'll be ordering another monitor online anymore.
Pros: Great color. Very bright screen. Full 1920x1080 HD resolution. 16:9 screen aspect ratio. Multiple video inputs. Built-in extra usb ports. PIP & PBP.
Cons: Like some of the other reviews I'm experiencing backlight bleed too and in the same areas as the others have stated, in the bottom left and top right corners. I would consider the bottom left corner really bad as I notice it in a lit room. The top right corner is about half as bad. I have a black...
