Excerpt: This monitor is my second monitor in a two monitor set up for developing still photos. It does everything I had hoped for. Although the resolution is not equivalent to the best available, it is very good and a bargain at its current price. It is attractive and easy to set up.
Pros: Adjustable Viewing Angles, Great picture quality, Large Viewing Area, Reliable Performance, Small Footprint
Excerpt: First off, the product design is stunning. The speakers are acceptable but aren't loud enough when jamming out to a song. Volume controls and general menu functions are ok, creative, but not ideal. Display quality is average. I guess I just got used to my Retina display, in comparison it's inferior.
Pros: Great Design Aesthetic, Large Viewing Area, Small Footprint
Summary: I wasn't sure if this would work well with the resolution desired for my MacBook Pro Retina 15", but it works very well. I wouldn't say it looks as crisp or as clear as the laptop display, but as my job requires 6-8 hours of computer time, it works well.
Summary: Amazing monitor, great picture quality, but there is two things that bother me. Stand is a little wobbly(I will live with it) and horrible audio pass through. The speakers on this monitor are pretty garbage, but what makes it worse is that it completely lowers the volume.
Summary: So pretty, so nice. I love this screen. The only reason I gave it 4 stars, is it "AUTO" switches to different inputs (I am using HDMI 1 and 2 and VGA). If my laptop dims the screen from inactivity, the darn screen will switch to a different input. Its very annoying.
Summary: Budget brands offer a 27 inch monitors for 75 bucks less, but the reviews, design, and IPS display on the MX279H won me over. It does not disappoint. The image is sharp and vibrant, with no distortion, leakage, or dead pixels. Streaming HBO at 1080P is a pleasure.
Summary: I really like the picture/graphics and the Edge to Edge feature of this display. But the controls are poor. Very small button on the bottom edge that are not well marked, they also give you very little time to react to the menu option.
Summary: I bought two of these monitors to run off my Mac Mini. The color is great and videos look sharp. For the price its a great deal. I was looking at getting the Apple Thunderbolt display for $999.00. But wanted to try these out first.
