Summary: I took far more time to monitor specs (and read customer blogs) than I normally do for a purchase of this size (to put it in perspective, the typical smart phone today is > $600--3X the cost of this excellent monitor). The first decision I made was to go with the AH-IPS panel over the standard TFT LED. It was a good decision. The wide viewing angle with no distortion makes a huge difference if you happen to be in a crowded presentation room.
Summary: Love this series of monitors! Both the 23 and 27 inch versions. They are light weight and have great picture quality! Only drawback is that they are not VESA compatible for mounting. If they were this would be the ideal monitor.
Summary: I've used the monitor for 2 weeks and I'm loving it. Now I can't look at the TV without noticing it's too dark. But not this monitor, really bright at day, and It can be dark at night. While gaming, the presets are awfully configurated, but nothing you can correct (at least what bothers me it's saturation). Haven't noticed any trace, nor haven't experienced something wrong with colours (all the opposite!
Summary: This is really a nice HD monitor with excellent resolution, decent speakers for what I need it for. I also really like the frameless feature and the attractive stand that allows for some minor adjustments. I needed this to pair with a 17" laptop for simple web browsing, email, using Office products (Word, Excel and Powerpoint).
