Summary: I had this monitor for about 8 months and more or less loved every minute of it. Backed by external speakers in a dark room, this monitor provides an immersive Xbox 360 experience at half of the cost of other monitors. The picture quality has NEVER disappointed me and not once have I noticed any dead pixels or ghosting, etc. However, I urge you to beware of this monitor's fragile nature and propensity to fall over.
Summary: My office bought me a pair of these monitors a couple of months ago: PROS -I'm sure they were cheap CONS -Screen will sometimes (usually) display random "block butterflies" (as I call them)... essentially random color lines of alternating pixel blocks 2 tall and 10 wide (1/16" x 1/4") and those will be in groups of 16 or so and scattered across the screen. As bad as that sounds, they are non-obtrusive and do not greatly deter me from working.
Summary: I have this monitor at work, it works fine as a general desktop monitor, please note this has florescent lighting, not LED like MS238H. ergonomic is pretty limited due to the ring stand, also there is no pre-drill hole to mount it up either. It's fine at work in the cubicle, I would have to found something else for home, since my desk is not that big.
