Summary: It would be great if they would fix the stand.
Pros: Easy to use and like the picture when the screen is set at a good angle.
Cons: The stand setup makes the monitor very unstable. I have bumped my desk a few times recently and all but once the monitor has fallen on its face do to the spring loaded ergo stand. Once I just pushed it back to try for a different angle, looked over my shoulder to answer someones question as I rel...
Summary: First, this LCD does not have glossy screen like on images all over the Web, it's matte and I think that's pro. Response time is good enough for games. I like design, monitor looks very good, just one thing - this ring not so stable and adjustable as I wished.
Summary: As others have said, the default settings definately need tweaking. This monitor had no problems keeping up with BF:BC2, yet i was getting wierd ghosting in COD:MW. The walls would flash green/purple colors, and shrubbery had a neon green glow.
Pros: Nice Display from edge to edge, price, name brand, cables included, sleek design in the front.
Cons: The circle ring as others have mentioned, is a little worrying when ordering, once i got it, i see its sturdy, but i still would have prefered something a bit more "normal", but it does its job so i didnt remove a star.
Summary: Not sure why everyone is complaining about the stand. It's innovative and works fine. As long as your desk is sturdy, it doesn't move. The angle of the monitor is good in the most upright position and it does stay inclined if you rotate it back.
Pros: Great Picture, Easy to set up, No dead pixels, Unbelievable Price
Summary: When I got this I couldn't picture what they meant by a "ring" stand. I kept thinking of the circles that lie flat on the desk underneath most flat monitors. Well it's nothing like that. OK so imagine a ribbon, maybe 3 inches wide and flat, like you wrap a present with.
Pros: I got a heck of a deal on this monitor, and I really like it. No dead pixels, everything works just fine.
Cons: As others have mentioned, the stand...if you want to call it that...the thing keeping it from falling over on your desk...can only be described as seriously weird. Don't get me wrong, I have no problems with it. It does what I need it to. But when assembling, you wonder how on earth it could ever...
Summary: I wanted a monitor with a better stand but that was eighty dollars more than this monitor which I got on sale.
Pros: Sharp monitor, with options to change the usual values, brightness, sharpness etc. Works fine with my games through the dvi connection. Menus are very easy to figure out. Best picture quality of the monitors that I have owned.
Cons: The menu buttons are a little too sensitive. The ring stand is easy to assemble but keeps the monitor tilted back so you have to really be level with the monitor to get a good viewing angle.
Summary: - Ring Stand not up to par, was cheap plastic, I was assuming it was heavy metal for counter balance, but that was expecting too much. Assuming it was heavy metal ring, it might have given users a straight view of the screen, but it not and currently sits at a 8-10 degree angle and can be pushed...
Pros: - Fast Response Time of 2ms - Above Average Shades of Grey 50000:1 Contrast Ratio, - Eco-Friendly 18-20 Watts Utilization under normal usage (browsing, ms office) Standard Mode with 50% Contrast and 50% Brightness - Comes with both 15pin vga cable and dvi cable - $15 Rebate (limit 2) and Free Shi...
Cons: - LCD had lots of removable plastic screen protector on the black portion in the front and covered the entire rear section of the white area, but nothing covered the screen - Monitor Must be Secured Down due to Ring, Not meant for anyone with kids, pets. - Touch Screen Monitor Menu very sensitive...
