Excerpt: This is a great looking and performing monitor. I bought it for a second monitor for my MacBook Pro. It works great but there is no software for the Mac. I had to plug it into my PC to set the brightness. By default it is a little dark and needs the brightness adjusted. The display control panel on the Mac will not adjust anything on this monitor - no brightness or color adjustment. Also, the monitor's external buttons do not work when plugged into the Mac.

Summary: This monitor is great. I wish the stand was built in or more compact so that it didn't take up as much space, but it's a sacrifice for the monitor that I'm willing to make. Haven't tested what the battery drain on my Lenovo is, I've always had it plugged in when in use. Make sure you install the software so that the screen auto adjusts the rotation depending on where you put it.
Excerpt: I bought this to replace an HP USB DisplayLink monitor of the same size, except that the HP is not full-HD, i.e. it's only 1366 x 768. The ASUS is wonderful on my HP i7 laptop. The image is sharp and crisp. Amazingly, I can run FOUR monitors under DisplayLink at once (two on USB 3.0 ports and two on a Lenovo USB 3.0 docking station, including gigabit ethernet). Even with all four monitors, the laptop's CPU is not even close to stressed.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Fast, Light, Powerful, Sharp
Summary: Very sleek and handy monitor. Only one cord to provide both power and connection via USB is simple and eligant. Extremely light and comes with a sturdy nylon case which still keeps the overall weight light and easy to carry. Using the case as a stand instead of integrating the feature into the monitor allows it to be super thin. I liked it so much I bought two and they work well in tandem.
Summary: My laptop monitor light went out, and it was going to cost $500 to fix. Instead, I purchased this monitor, which plugs into the laptop (runs off laptop power) and rests between the keyboard and the broken monitor. I set it on "duplicate" mode, so it shows what's on my dark monitor. I've used it for 2 weeks and it works great. It's surprising thin and lightweight. Great solution to my problem.
I needed this for my portable editing bay and it works great!

Summary: This monitor is absolutely awesome. It took a few minutes to install the drivers, plug it into my laptop USB 3 port and boom, it lit up and actually looked better than the laptop screen itself. This now completes my portable editing bay. The neat thing is it fits perfectly into my laptop bag. So now I have a complete compact setup that I can take on trips. Perfect!
Summary: This USB monitor is excellent: the HD resolution of the MB168B+ (as compared to ASUS's other non-HD resolution and the other ones available from AOC) really makes a difference. The display colors and overall construction are of very high quality. This has the thinnest profile of the available USB monitors, it looks exactly as if it you took it off of your laptop.
