Excerpt: I am so used to having two screens at the office that it is tough when I am working in the hotel. This solves that, slim and light it drops in the carry on. I have some trouble getting it to start up from my Toshiba Kira but it does work and I also use it for client presentations.
Summary: Excellent screen for what it is. It eats my laptop's battery alive, though, so be aware that you still need to find a plug when using it abroad. I ended up using two small tablet stands in unison to hold this monitor up instead of the case which worked well but was a bit too bulky for my backpack.
Excerpt: This is a must have item if you travel for work or are a university student. Having two monitors dramatically improves productivity, and this is your solution to the problem when you are on campus at college or travel for work. It works with just the usb cord and NO plugin to a outlet is needed.
Summary: Have only had the monitor for a day, so I may update this in a couple weeks. This monitor has been hard to find at all, and for less than $300 has been even more rare. So when I saw it for $260, I jumped on it. Sadly for me, it's down to $234 as of this review.
Summary: This is soooo cool! I use it every day and love it. Portable and great. I've a laptop with USB-2 only, and needed an adapter cable with a dual port USB on the laptop end to power it reliably, but it works great. USB-3 has a higher power spec, so a single port cable would work with that.
Summary: This product is a better choice over those apps that uses your network to display the added screen on tablets, which was what I was using at first. The widescreen size is perfect for that extra room. The refresh rate on this screen allows for work to be done on two screens without lag.
There's a reason these are still back-ordered and hard to find at low prices

Summary: This monitor is the highest resolution DisplayLink monitor out there (that I know of). Most others are 1366x768. HP just released a 1600x900 DisplayLink monitor, but it's priced similarly to this one, so it's a no-brainer there.
Want multiple monitors - this is the best choice - but USB 3.0

Summary: Using this add on monitor with my Macbook Pro (2013) and works seamlessly. I also have both the Lenovo, Toshiba as well as AOC equivalents and this ASUS is miles ahead because of clarity compared to the Lenovo and Toshiba models and not jittery display as what was sometimes found with the AOC model.
Summary: This is an awesome Screen! My wife and I have 2 of these. We use them for excel spread sheets and the controls for Adobe photo shop. I also do some music recording and Djing podcast. The screen is superb. The case it comes with is really awesome too.
