Summary: Using this add on monitor with my Macbook Pro (2013) and works seamlessly. I also have both the Lenovo, Toshiba as well as AOC equivalents and this ASUS is miles ahead because of clarity compared to the Lenovo and Toshiba models and not jittery display as what was sometimes found with the AOC model. Also the fit and finish of the ASUS is right up there with the fit and finish of ASUS notebooks - looks great.
Summary: This is an awesome Screen! My wife and I have 2 of these. We use them for excel spread sheets and the controls for Adobe photo shop. I also do some music recording and Djing podcast. The screen is superb. The case it comes with is really awesome too. It really protects the device while out and about. The look of it really makes you portable laptop setup look that much more professional.
Summary: The monitor is reasonably bright and very portable. I had no problems with slow response. It fits nicely in computer bag with my laptop. I took the advice of another person and got the Anker stand and a USB 3 to USB 2 cable and it works well. I had a question about the item, contacted the seller and got a very satisfactory answer back quickly. I am very happy with the product and the seller's customer service.
Summary: Works wonderfully! I am using it with a 6-year old MacBook. There are a few glitches, as expected after reading some reviews, but I spume that is because I am using a USB 2.0 port. I expect more brightness (although this one is pretty good) and far to none glitches with my next MacBook with 3.0 ports. Although this screen is supposed to work better with Windows PCs, the video drives for my mac on my Windows 7 partition (using bootcamp) are not compatible.
Summary: The screen works great as a second monitor for the laptop I use for work. Being an IT Consultant it is nice to have a thin monitor I can pack in the laptop bag. The monitor's protective sleeve functions as the base and works well. The Dell and Lenovo laptop I have was able to power the monitor with their USB 2 ports, the only difference I noticed was the video on the USB 2 port had a higher latency, whereas the USB3 port provided a fairly low latency.
Summary: its amazing but... mac support sucks! 1. works fine with mac but controllers on the side don't work 2. when mirroring the display it doesn't go full screen just small screen inside 3. I wish it had more use other than just mirroring or extending maybe support for ipad or hdmi! 4. bugs the hell out of me that everyone is trying to touch it thinking its a touch screen! HANDS OFF SUCKERS! lol 5.
Summary: I am a road warrior. I absolutely LOVE this USB-powered screen. It gives me two monitors without the bulk. This screen fits snugly in its case and the case fits in my backpack with minimal additional weight. Working with 2 monitors makes my life on the road so much easier!!! I've had this for several months now and it is holding up well, although I do make sure to store it in the protective bag it was packed in before placing it in the case that doubles as the screen...
Summary: Perfect compliment to the 1920 x 1080 display on my Dell M-4700. Nothing else I evaluated matched the resolution, and having less on the second monitor would drive me crazy. The portability of this is amazing! In my backpack I don't even know it's there. They have apparently starting shipping with a longer USB cable. The one I received is about 3 ft. As many reviewers said, the case works well as a case but what were they smokin' by suggesting using it as a stand?
Summary: I cannot express how much of a difference this screen has made to my working day. I had been looking at secondary monitors for a while but as someone who travels almost constantly for work I didn't want to get used to having one when working in my office but then have to go back to not having that same functionality when I'm out on the road.
