Excerpt: Dual monitors has become essential in my work. Now I can take the Asus 168 on the road with my laptop for great productivity. One USB connection for both power and signal is Great! Image rotates with monitor.Color rendition is a little off but doesn't affect documents. The Asus registration process is horrible.
Excerpt: This monitor is excellent for anybody that needs extra screen space on the go. I've been using it for about 6 months now (after a Philip Bloom reccomendation), and it's been very helpful in my post workflow. Once you install the DisplayLink drivers it's plug and play. I need more USB ports on my rMBP.Unfortunately it does come with some cons. As a Mac user, you're unable to control landscape/portrait orientation, brightness, and have a very limited color spaces.
Pros: Easy To Set Up, Easy To Use, Full 1080, Inexpensive, Lightweight Portable, Usb Powered
Cons: Inaccurate Color, Less Mac Functionality, Slightly Flimsy
Another great use is in doing customer presentations

Summary: I use this monitor on the road. With 2 USB monitors I can travel light but develop with a 3 1080p monitors on my ultra-book wherever I go. Another great use is in doing customer presentations. I mirror an external monitor that I can keep at lower resolution to match the projector and still take notes in my high resolution laptop screen. That also hides all the email and other notifications that are coming in. I would not go out without one of these.
Summary: I can't live without two screens in my office and always suffered when traveling. When this product became available, I bought one. The monitor is very bright and the text sharp, as you might expect. I very much dislike the 1920x1080 format as this does not work well for documents in portrait mode. 4:3 aspect monitors are far better for standard size documents. Other than that, this monitor is fine. I concur with other reviewers who say to get a different stand.
This product driver can not be installed into Windows Server OS, need edit the ini file under the dirver folder.

Summary: Make sure you are getting MB168B+, not MB168B (no plus). MB168B (no plus) is not a Full HD monitor, and the display quality is a little poor. However MB160B+ is a great product as a portable Full HD Monitor. But the setup gave me a hard time. This monitor will not work only by connecting it to USB cable. you will need to install the driver.
Summary: I have 3 portable USB monitors; AOC, DoubleSight, and this one. I use them for control monitors for audio PC's where I want to able to effectively control the device as a PC without the monitor being obtrusive. Small, HD monitors are surprisingly scarce. This monitor is by far the best. The stand is by far the worst. The monitor is not AC quality but the technology is clearly advancing and of the 3, only this one is satisfying.

Summary: Pros: - External USB monitor. It's like magic! - Good size - Gives me decent performance with my Mac Air Cons: - Causes funky behavior with my Mac Air - Noticeable latency - Can't control brightness with OSX (have to connect to a Windows computer) - I don't trust the case-stand 100%.
Summary: I really like this portable monitor but it was NOT easy to set it up. The disk that came with it is outdated and I had to do some Windows and ASUS updates to get it up and running. The monitor is super light weight and quite affordable. In the end I am satisfied.
this will be a great investment. The monitor is VERY thin

Summary: On day of receipt, had connected and running within 10 minutes on my old ASUS EEE PC H1000 under WinXP. Great display! If the life and durability match this initial observation, this will be a great investment. The monitor is VERY thin, literally wood-pencil thin. The case is firm but flexible, leaving me concerned about the protection offered while Mobile. I backpack to work every day and require rugged equipment; I hope this devices measures up.
Excellent performance, but would benefit from a small revision.

Summary: I've previously used other DisplayLink products and have generally been quite happy with them despite some limitations. This screen is no exception and actually works better than any other display link product I've used. Normally, USB graphics have some sort of processing delay, especially when doing something like watching a video - this has none. It's actually pretty impressive. Even when playing a Youtube video, the screen is responsive and quick.
