Summary: I like this product, but the screen seems pretty dark and the brightness adjustment on the side doesn't seem to do anything. Still great as a portable screen, but a little dark for everyday use.
Summary: Had this for about a year and have used it exclusively to have a dual monitor setup/1080p monitor with my Lenovo T430 while on the road. Its a necessity if you have to code html and your laptop has a 1368x768 resolution.
Summary: I started in the portable monitor game some time ago, maybe years ago, with an AOC monitor that worked just fine. It was loaned out to a co-worker and I wasn't sure it was going to make it back before I had to leave work work again, and I needed another.
Summary: I am used to working with three monitors most of the time. It seems that I am always referencing one or two documents while working on another. When on the road, it is difficult to adjust to a single 15" laptop display. The Asus USB monitor is a nice addition for a road warrior.
Summary: The monitor is great. Very light; HD and decent brightness. Given it is only powered by a single USB cable, I pretty much use it at MAX brightness. I have use it outdoors under the porch and all text and pictures are visible. I have even play HD videos on the monitor and they are good enough.
Summary: Generally this works pretty well. I have to say the picture is not as good as my other "second" screen, but this one is so much thinner, and for travel that is what I wanted. (Yes I know there is a higher res version out there, but I am using this for word processing and the several hundred dollar...
Summary: Looks like a great monitor, however wasn't able to get it working because there wasn't sufficient power coming from the Surface Pro 2 without the use of additional items like the USB 3.0 Y Cable and possibly a powered hub which really doesn't make it as portable as it should be.
