Summary: Monitor worked well when I first bought it. Light weight, extremely portable, perfect for my all nighters (I'm a student). I did recommend it to everyone else I know but now ive stopped because the monitor stopped working. It connects to the computer fine and taking a screenshot shows that the computer is properly pushing the screen image. Just nothing shows up on the screen but a blank black/blue screen.
I would strongly recommend finding a better resolution monitor

Summary: I would strongly recommend finding a better resolution monitor. The stand it the protection case and is cheap. The connection is horrible. I plan on getting a different model from another company and giving this problem to someone for free.
Summary: It is a product that if it would work properly, would increase your productivity. The Issue I have ( and may be is because of my Computer and/or my Windows version) is that the windows in office (word, excel or outlook) turns black suddenly after being working for around 10 to 30 minutes with the screen. When I disconnect the screen , office works good. Then I connect it and in 30 min the office window turns black again.
Not impressed. Causes lots of eye strain. Very bad viewing angles. ZERO Linux support.

Summary: To start off, I'm a professional photographer who has used a wide range of different monitors. Obviously IPS displays are ideal for photo work, but there are also very impressive TN displays that I wouldn't mind using as well. This monitor isn't one of them. 1. You only have control over the brightness. No control over color balance. No control over contrast. 2. The color is noticeably more magenta and blue. 3. The contrast is not good. 4.
Summary: It is junk, so is my brand new ASUS laptop. Tech support is terrible. Called tech support for the monitor and they say call another number for support on the laptop. I called laptop support and they say to call the monitor support. Still not able to get this to work.
Summary: I have used a portable USB monitor for years. I rely on it whenever I'm working extended hours outside of my office, which is pretty frequent. As helpful as my low res display is, I really wanted a high resolution display with the same portability. Naturally I was excited about the ASUS MB168B+ and I purchased it right away without thinking twice. To my surprise it doesn't work on my Sony Vaio laptop.
