I love it!
30 January 2014
Summary: I've had it for about a year now. It's crisp, has great color, is a great size and the resolution is phenomenal. For photoshop work, it's stupendous. For Lightroom, it's even better. For gaming?
Summary: This monitor is one of the best monitors I owned, and I owned quite a few expensive toys so far; Many complaint about the glare, with adequate backround light I have no problem with the glare what so ever. I would recomend this monitor to anyone that can affort to spend the money for it.
Summary: Some reviews have criticized the screen which has no antiglare protection. That is a benefit to me because of greater clarity that results. The screen automatically shuts down when the computer sleeps and appears to generate no heat then, nor any appreciable load.
Summary: No complaints at all in the quality of display. I do wish it had more USB slots and that they were on the side or bottom and easier to reach instead of on the back and so few in number. An off switch would also be kinda nice as well as a dedicated hot line for the iPhone to plug into.
Summary: The reason for purchasing the cinema display, and not the thunderbolt display, was due to one simple fact: this model has display port. That means with a simply adapter, or not if your GPU has it, you can hook this up to any newer Mac AND Windows PC.
Summary: Absolutely beautiful. I upgraded from the 24" Cinema Display (which Apple doesn't make any longer) to this one and it's an incredible product. We're a Mac-based business and this screen is perfect. My only wish is that I was able to use both monitors with my MacBook Pro laptop....
Summary: I have an IMac, so I pretty much knew what to expect when I bought this display. It's every bit as good as the IMac display. I attached it to a Mac Pro...when I originally ordered the Mac Pro I bought a high end Samsung TV thinking it would be a good fit. Wrong!
