Summary: These are very nice quality Apple HD monitors that a model from a few years ago. I needed one to fit into a set of 3 used in a recording studio situation where one had burned out. I was quite happy to find an Amazon Marketplace seller who still had one of these in new condition.
Summary: I did a dumb thing. I broke my 23" Cinema View monitor. Bought it a year ago and it was GREAT!!! and worth the money. Last week I was taking it to a meeting in the back seat of the car -- you guessed it, I broke it. Contacted Apple Care and a less than friendly person gave me a local authorized repair facility -- you know the rest, had to finally call several facilities myself until I reached an independent facility called MacPros, Richmond, VA. They were great!!!
Fantastic display - works perfectly with my Intel XP system

Summary: I recently bought this monitor through Amazon. I upgraded my video card to a GEforce FX 5600 since that has a DVI port. This is probably one of the best technology investments I have ever made. Razor sharp picture, have yet to find a single dead pixel - not saying there aren't any - just that they are not apparent. Have played a bunch of games on it - no ghosting. Have watched DVD's on it - they look awesome. Aesthetically it is beautiful.
Summary: This monitor meets all my expectations and more. For some of you that have been hesitant in getting this monitor because of the 1999.99 price tag, please consider my review.First of all, this monitor rocks! For those of you that have never seen it,you're missing out.The amount of desktop space is incredible.Text is vivid at its native resolution of 1920x1200.I'm using a PC with the GFX5900ultra.Setup was indeed flawless.Remember to buy the 99.99 ADC/DVI connector that gives...
Summary: The screen itself is excellent. Especially since you can get a (...) rebate if u buy it together with an Apple G5 Powermac. Buy one you won't be disappointed. Also, Apple will release a 30" display in the Apple WWDC (...
Summary: I bought this monitor from Amazon almost a year ago. I am still amazed at how big it is - and I mean big in terms of usable screen space. I have it hooked up to my Intel based PC using a DVI video card. It is aesthetically beautiful as well which was a nice change of pace from my previous large screen monitors which were not much to look at. Everything looks good on this screen.
Summary: The calibration of the screen is amazing. The color is astounding and the amount of space to work on is incredible. There's room to view two full sizes pages and palettes with a little room left to spare. The footprint of this amazing monitor is a lot less than my previous 15" monitor! There's just no turning back after you've test-driven this baby!
Summary: I just bought this thing from Amazon and all I can say is WOW!!!! This is probably the best purchase I have ever made. This thing is everything I ever expected and more!! It's very easy to use as well! I have bought other brands before, and this one just blows everything else out of the water! I have to say, everyone out there who is thinking of buying this, stop thinking. I bought it and I am extremely happy with it the moment I powered this thing on.
Summary: This monitor is quite simply the gold standard by which others are judged. I hesitated for a long time before taking the plunge and I'm mighty glad I did. For text-based applications, where else can you view 2 A4 pages side by side and still have room for the dock and pallettes on the side? The image is crisp and beautiful -- I realize there are higher res monitors out there, but for a Mac system this is ideal. I say bring on the rumored 30 incher pleeeze...
Summary: This thing is huge! The UPS driver saw the photo on the box and did not believe it was that big. We both had to open it up and take a look. It's like having two 17" monitors side by side, without the split. This would be great to watch DVD's on. I have it setup to 1920x1200 (19.2" x 12" viewing area or about 96 dpi), and the text is very readable. Works in OS9 just as well as OSX. Instructions were simple, just plug it in - no power cord, it's all in the one cable.
