Summary: I use this monitor for PC games, school work, and video editing. -Games that utilize the full 2560x1080 look unbelievable. As a former Xbox gamer, I grew up loving Just Cause 2 (2008), and on PC with this monitor it is a totally new game. A 7 year old game on PC in 21:9 looks better than current XB1 games. The wider FOV changes the way you play games and looks stunning. Some say it looks too short, but I think it is the perfect height/width ratio.
Summary: I would love to try out daisy-chaining 2 more together for that ultra wide view, but again, the Missus would notice.
Pros: This review is after roughly 1 year of ownership (a little over 11 months). So far, this monitor has performed flawlessly. No bad pixels appearing, no back light creeping in. It functions just as well now as when I brought it home. I still occasionally run across that certain game that isn't supporting the 21:9 ratio (cough, cough Assassin's Creed 4), but most games that are relatively recent do, and makes the experience that much better. I don't think I could go back...
Cons: The thing is a fingerprint magnet on every surface.
Summary: Quite happy with this monitor, while it has only been a couple of weeks, I can see myself buying another to use at work (plenty of excel columns for me!). The drivers took a bit to find for someone without a CD drive on their PC, but was all good when I did. I could see others complaining that it is not height adjustable, but it wasn't an issue for me.
Pros: The monitor is big, comes with a stable stand, has good image quality and convenient output connectors.
Cons: I've owned dozens of monitors in my life. This is the worst one yet. On my Mac mini, it continually resets to low resolutions. Switching it back and forth between the mini and my Linux laptop causes strange firmware problems where it forgets what resolutions its capable of. I can't recommend this monitor for Mac or Linux users.
Summary: Great cheap daisy chain-able monitor. If you are not looking to spend mass amounts of money I would recommend this. Sucks that it does not have a versa mount nor the color is as vibrant as monitors from say Dell or Asus, still a good monitor all in all. Love the PIP feature of it, and that you can change the sound based on the PIP. Totally worth it!
Summary: I had so lines on the screen but it was due to my HDMI cable...just make sure it's seated properly.
Pros: This monitor has amazing, beautiful crisp colors. I got this to replace my Samsung 24 inch monitor for gaming and it's a big improvement. nVidia digital boost doesn't restart on this monitor. I can see further left and right during games. In game pics and videos look amazing on my desktop. This is a best buy for gaming, editing and movies. It's two screens in one!
Summary: Love, love, love this monitor. Color quality is spot on. Picture-in-picture mode is a neat feature to have. The software AOC gives you with the montior is, well, not very good. They give you the drivers and some window management software but Windows does a good job of that on it's own now in my opinion. The AOC version is just very buggy and snaps the window when you don't want it to.
Summary: The monitor has only been in use for a full day so I reserve the right to revisit my ratings. Having said that... This is my 1st 21:9 ratio monitor. I was concerned about the ability of my NVidia Quadro K5000 to drive the 2560 x 1080 resolution. After selecting "Advanced/Non-Standard" settings the video card permitted the higher settings. I am extremely impressed with the monitor. Web pages are fantastic in portrait mode, spreadsheets in landscape.
