Good value

George E., Newegg
14 April 2015
  • Summary: I have 3 in a triple monitor multiview configuration for PC racing games like rFactor 2. All three arrived with no DOAs or infant mortality and they all faithfully display the same colors. The excellent anti-glare means my task light is not reflected at all. Response time is fine for racing games.
  • Pros: IPS with very wide viewing angle, displayport, tilt, lots of controls for adjusting display properties. 27" is sooo much nicer than 24". Response time appears adequate and there are 4 levels of overdrive to choose from for onscreen motion transitions (e.g. video games). Excellent color match betw...
  • Cons: Power cord connector feels like it is mounted in rubber and potentially a failure point if you man-handle it. Stand could use a wider stance to reduce wobbles and a height adjustment would be desireable. Not quite as bright as the single 27" TFN Viewsonic monitor I replaced. No explanation of wha...

Great monitor, Awful sound quality

Anonymous, Newegg
14 October 2014
  • Summary: Bought this to replace some smaller monitors that are a few years old. These work well as a budget conscious replacement and slight upgrade. Integrated speakers have some of the worst sound quality I've heard in my life that even 10 dollar Logitech speakers are miles better than it and adds...
  • Pros: + IPS Panel + Big picture + Cost + DisplayPort Connection + VESA mount
  • Cons: - Sound quality is abysmal - Has VGA connection instead of DVI.

Not to bad for the price.

Matthew B., Newegg

  • Summary: Because the viewing angle is still very good and its a nice bezel free design I am still considering buying 2 more for a widescreen setup. In this price range you will have tradeoffs. Some with better design, some with better color, some better input lag etc..
  • Pros: I purchased this from a local electronics store that had a little cheaper price than Newegg. But even at its current price, you'd be hard pressed to find a 27" monitor with a bezel-less design, Displayport and an IPS panel. I am very pleased with it overall minus a couple gripes.
  • Cons: First off this isn't a very high quality IPS Panel when it comes to color depth. I have an Apple Cinema Display as comparison and it nowhere near as rich in color or its black levels. Not that you should expect an exact match but its pretty prevalent. I spent a considerable amount of time right o...

Sharon V., Newegg
3 September 2013
  • Summary: for the price you really cant go wrong if you want IPS. this costs as much as a regular monitor of the same size and has a MUCH better image
  • Pros: Looks great, fantastic price (got mine cheaper on a BB sale) looks as good as the LG (it uses the same panel)
  • Cons: stand is kinda flimsy, no DVI, no bracket mounting
