Summary: Bought this to replace some smaller monitors that are a few years old. These work well as a budget conscious replacement and slight upgrade. Integrated speakers have some of the worst sound quality I've heard in my life that even 10 dollar Logitech speakers are miles better than it and adds pointless cost and weight to the monitor design/BOM. Its a solid monitor despite the slight cons, the picture quality and size won't disappoint for power users.
Pros: + IPS Panel + Big picture + Cost + DisplayPort Connection + VESA mount
Cons: - Sound quality is abysmal - Has VGA connection instead of DVI.
Summary: Because the viewing angle is still very good and its a nice bezel free design I am still considering buying 2 more for a widescreen setup. In this price range you will have tradeoffs. Some with better design, some with better color, some better input lag etc.. But for my needs this is the right choice. If you are looking to build a widescreen setup and what that wide viewing angle without loosing too much color depth this is a good option.
Pros: I purchased this from a local electronics store that had a little cheaper price than Newegg. But even at its current price, you'd be hard pressed to find a 27" monitor with a bezel-less design, Displayport and an IPS panel. I am very pleased with it overall minus a couple gripes.
Cons: First off this isn't a very high quality IPS Panel when it comes to color depth. I have an Apple Cinema Display as comparison and it nowhere near as rich in color or its black levels. Not that you should expect an exact match but its pretty prevalent. I spent a considerable amount of time right out of the box trying to adjust it and no go.. Its looks much more like a TN Panel then a good quality IPS. Secondly its stand is quite wobbly. Most of the 27" monitors in this...
Great display, affordable, and DisplayPort compatible!

Summary: Been using it for a while. Love it. Screen has a slight delay when coming on via DisplayPort, otherwise a great product. Diablo 3 looks great on it as well as all of my development work. Crystal clear display.
Summary: The monitor looks great with no real downside, except that it takes a couple seconds longer to power up and get connected than I would have thought. However, I'm lucky it works at all. The box showed up like it had been through a shredder. There was an outer box and an inner box thankfully. Horrible packaging concept. I took pictures of it on my porch prior to opening. Luckily, it seems to work just fine.
Summary: Pros: Nice screen, works well for gaming/movies, works well with text for programming too. Sound is not great but better than many LCD's I have heard. The IPS does work well, I let my son watch Netflix while I am doing other things, and I am surprised how well it looks when looking at it from a sharp angle. Price :-) Cons: No DVI input. The menus are a real pain.
very nice monitor, highly recommended, if you are not picky about the resolution.

Summary: very nice monitor, highly recommended, if you are not picky about the resolution. 1920x1080 is quite OK to me. Someone goes for 2xxx resolution, but I guess 27" is too small for that high resolution.
AOC i2769VM: Great Image, Nice Design... but odd issue with laptop running Windows 7

Summary: This monitor is perhaps one of the best I've seen in terms of image quality (contrast, sharpness, color gamut, etc.), esthetics, and build quality. The panel is very thin, all plastic but with an overall solid feel, the desk support is solid (no wobbling) and the screen is treated with a good mate finish (anti-glare). Connectivity-wise, the monitor offers two HDMI connections (one with support for mobile devices) and analog VGA/D-sub.
IPS Panel, support is difficult, buy 2 if you can afford it...

Summary: It is a large monitor which is impressive. The colors are good though not sure the accuracy, I have never owned an IPS panel before so supposedly the colors are more accurate than a "regular" monitor. Every monitor I have seen the colors are off from one to the next even two identical screens sitting next to each other, what looks good in one could be off a little to a lot depending on the screen.
