Summary: This monitor arrived a few days ago and, thus far, has proven to be an excellent choice. Although it has a lower resolution than some top-of-the-line IPS monitors, its color-accuracy resolution and response time has proven ideal for use with budget graphics cards when gaming. ___Pros___ +++ Low input lag (helps the "feel" of the monitor when gaming).
Summary: Some quick info about the monitor: 1920x1080 resolution 0.311mm pixel pitch LED backlit Panel is 6-bit color with AFRC The monitor is very good for gaming. The resolution isn't as system intensive as most of the 27" monitors that come closer to 2560x1440. The input lag is extremely low, measuring less than 1 frame (5-6ms). My only real fault with the monitor were the on board controls.
Summary: I just purchased this display from bestbuy a few days ago. I am an apple user and wanted more screen real-estate for my 15inch macbook pro. It works very nicely. No issues at all. The resolution obviously doesnt compare to the apple cinema or thunderbolt displays. But for the price around 300 dollars and 3 year guarantee, I have absolutely nothing to complain about!!!
Summary: Purchased this monitor on sale, save $100...will be buying 2 more at this price! The IPS display is by far the best I have seen at the 1080P level. Sleek, beautiful aluminum with no border! Love this monitor!
Pros: No Border; Simple Touch Controls; Dual HDMI; IPS
Summary: I use the 27'' monitor with my MacBook Pro 13'' in my university dorm. It's super comfortable to read webpages, emails, e-books, etc. on the big screen. And it's much cheaper than Apple's Thunderbolt display, without any noticeable downgrade in quality. (Note that I'm not a gaming guy; you might or might not run into troubles when you play graphics-intensive games - I simply don't know.
Summary: I had a 22" dell IPS display previously, but wanted something larger. Most 27" IPS displays are significantly more expensive, although they do come with more features like ergonomic adjustments, a greater variety of inputs, and better speakers. That said, for ~$300, this monitor is an amazing value. It's a good looking 27" IPS display. The only issue I had when installing was that the picture was "shrunken" slightly and left about a 1" gap on all edges of the display.
Summary: This is a great monitor for the price. It's very big and bright (IPS) screen. My only complaint is the screen resolution 1920 x 1080 is not enough for a 27" screen. Still great, only mild negative. Also, very, very small bezel.
Summary: This is an incredible monitor for the price. The colors are very accurate out of the box (you will probably need to turn the brightness down about halfway though). I use two of these monitors without the included stand, because I love the design of monitors that sit up like a picture frame, and the choice of using the stand or not is excellent. The monitor does come with speakers, which obviously are probably not that great, but who buys a monitor for speakers?
Pros: The design, great price, great IPS panel, matte screen. Sound pass-through.
Cons: Nothing really, maybe 1080p resolution for some people. No issues with this monitor.
