Needs help from video card controls

Edmund L., Newegg
11 October 2015
  • Summary: I set it to it's maximum brightness, and on a detailed grey scale image, several dark grey levels above black were merged into black. So I used my Radeon 4670's control panel to give it +25 brightness. Then, the highlights were blocked up, so I reduced the contrast by -10 (to 90).
  • Pros: Nice picture once helped by video card adjustments. Vertical viewing angles are wonderful. Price.
  • Cons: Too dim w/o video card adjustments.

Very nice monitors to use with monitor arms.

  • Excerpt: Bought to use with silver Ergotech Freedom Arms. Looks amazing. Feels solid. Unfortunately I don't know how the stock stand is, doesn't seem very good. On the negative side the back is darker, the brush work is much more subtle in real life, and is plastic, all of which isn't the impression you get...

  • Summary: Good quality picture and fits in a small space, even though it is a 23" monitor. Not much wasted space around the perimeter.

  • Summary: I purchased a pair of I2369V 23" monitors to replace a pair of similar Dell monitors, one of which developed an intermittent display problem. I am very pleased with the brightness and clarity of the IPS LED technology.

Good Thin (but still there) Bezel, nice screen

Poor Tech-ee "Larry C.", Amazon
18 October 2014
  • Summary: Did not purchase here, but lower price here. Pros: Clear Picture, THIN bezel (little less then half an inch - approx 7/16" ) NOTE: it is not 2mm of "actual" border....2mm is the bezel outside the screen that covers the rest of the bezel is behind the screen that actually meets the image, Matte...

High Quality per Dollar

Dustin G., Newegg
23 April 2014
  • Summary: I originally purchased a Samsung C150 series monitor that had such a poor viewing angle, it technically had NO viewing angle. During a fit of frustration, I exchanged it for this monitor knowing nothing about AOC but feeling so betrayed by Samsung (who I thought made nothing but quality) and I'm...
  • Pros: I give this monitor 5 eggs because I got it for a great price and I'm impressed with the picture quality. 50% of the time I use this monitor, the sun is hitting it at a bad angle - and it still looks good! It's not that the screen is too bright (see cons), but the anti-glare film along with the I...
  • Cons: Screen isn't as bright as I would like it to be, despite the minimal glare. I had to play around with the settings to make everything perfect. The stand is a little flimsy (no more than every other cheap widescreen monitor stand IMO) but I try to move the monitor by the base and not the screen if...
