High refresh rate with horrible color quality and a low native resolution
4 weeks ago
Summary: I was initially impressed by how smooth and responsive this monitor's refresh rate was. 144hz is absolutely silky smooth and coming from a (59) hz monitor, I could really tell the difference right away.
Pros: Everything about this monitor is awesome. Had the inputs I wanted, the speed I desired, the gorgeous colors I longed for, and all the little features that make for a great gaming monitor. Easily stands up to monitors that are a few hundred dollars more. The different between this 27" and my old 2...
Cons: Wish I could have afforded to buy three of them!
Summary: I bought this as my first gaming/144hz monitor. Gameplay was smooth and fluid. I loved the screen size, the USB 3 ports on the side (even though I was having drivers issues with them as well), etc. Sadly, it had a very noticeable dead pixel near the middle. I ended up sending it back.
Pros: 8 months later and I can say this is an amazing monitor. Worth every penny and then some. My buddy got the Ben-Q and I have to say this one looks every bit as good and was about $100 less. This baby is beautiful and big. Has a lot of adjustability. Games and movies are eye bleedingly gorgeous.
Cons: Red stripe across the bottom panel might be distracting to some. Base underneath is a little big, about frisbee size.
Summary: If you are a gamer I would definitely suggest a 144hz monitor whether it be this or another one. You will feel and see the difference.
Pros: Running the 144hz sure is easier on the eyes. And I jumped on Battlefield 4 last night after setting it up and it was the smoothest I have ever played. Still need to tweak the colors a bit but they are really clean.
Cons: None so far, it shipped fast and was sitting at my front door yesterday.
Summary: it is not overpriced and does a wonderful job!
Pros: beautiful monitor. works as advertised. i am 46 years old and will play Crysis 3 and Serious Sam with the best and I love doing so on this monitor! besides FPS games I play racing games and this monitor is above perfect. I am on my other computer right now using an AOC V22 monitor which is also a...
Pros: Well let me say out of all three monitors this one is wonderful!! I have owned a rog Swift and Benq xl2720z. This monitor has just as good color depth and refresh rates as both of these. Oh and its half the price. I know i know the xl2720z has motion blur and some other bells and whisles as well ...
Cons: No motion blur or gsync..... but honestly who cares... those technologies are not often used anyways. Until gsync becomes the norm with monitors then I will buy one but until then this is my go to monitor for gaming.
Bright, vivid, don't even need vertical sync anymore with my games.

Summary: Used to have a lot of micro stutter problems, not anymore, heck I don't even need vertical sync anymore for my games. Just remember though that if your computer is not strong enough to reach the higher refresh rate, this won't be quite as useful.
Summary: I am currently running a single screen, but would love to have a triple screen setup with three of these monitors...when the budget permits. My current system is a GTX970 and an i5-4690k. For the money spent on this monitor it is a great value for the quality in return.
Pros: I won't repeat what others have said other than to say this monitor looks great and gives a VERY smooth gaming experience at 144hz. Assetto Corsa and other racing titles look and play outstanding on this monitor.
Cons: Getting the colors correct took 20mins, but has since been hands off.
