Summary: OK here's my review. No dead pixels, pretty good picture out of the box. I do alot of picture editing so I am familiar with shadows and highlights. This monitor has NO controls to get a picture I need. "Neilosis" gave a very good calibrating settings. I have spent almost 2 weeks trying everything. First of all if you do the option for "Picture Boost" you do get a better picture, but, if you then move to Luminus and do changes it kicks out the picture boost.
Summary: arrived with a dead pixel, not sure if it was from the shipping, other than that, very nice monitor, no washed out colors, display very crisp, whites are very white with the high contrast ratio. Nice having the two HDMI inputs. No ghosting either from what I've experienced.
Summary: I got this monitor to a long side my iMac 27inch display. Its a great monitor, very bright, its great for the price and size, especially since it does output 1080p. Of course the only downside is that image/quality wise it isn't on the same level as the iMac's display but for the price, its worth it. Amazing quality and deal for the price. No complaints!

Summary: Amazing Monitor for the price. Most monitors this size with a 2ms response time, full hd, etc... are around $300-$400. I got this at $179. No regrets, I see people complaining about the stand, etc... Although the plastic is a little on the cheaper side, unless you plan on having constant earthquakes or using this monitor on a trampoline then there is nothing to complain about. Especially for the price!
Summary: Pros: Practically no setup, always works beautifully, nice simple features to do everything I need to. Cons: Does not dim low enough to comfortably use in a dark room even with brightness set to 0, and the tilt is too sticky.
A large, full HD display at a generous price, but requires tweaking for a decent image and lacks proper documentation.
