Summary: As with the other rating. Time of use is needed to see the worth and quality of an electronic device. This monitor has been working for a month and a half straight with no glitches to date. Just a small learning curve to figure out the function of the settings. I would recommend this monitor. It is used a second monitor in a dual monitor sysem.
Summary: i'll stick with purchasing acer from now on. I refuse to buy from people who participate in deceptive marketing! acer may be a little more expensive but at least they report their screen sizes correctly. acer also has equivalent quality.
Pros: aoc is a good brand name. i've purchased hundreds of them in the past.
Cons: everywhere you look in the listing it says 24" over and over except for a tiny spot in the specs where it reports a 23.6" screen size. this isn't a 24" monitor it's a 23.6! I was robbed!
Summary: The screen would be perfect if you were upgrading from a old monitor because the good out weigh the bad, but if you have a good screen keep it and buy another one then this. The entire viewing angle, and button issue can be fixed by having it on a mount that allows you to raise it up. The stand just is way to short even makes it hard to put the DVI-D, or VGA plug in.
Pros: The screen looks great doesn't have a issue with anything that looks off or odd colorization. There is also zero issues with dead pixels not one!
Cons: The viewing angle STINKS, the screen cannot be seen when viewing is straight on, to look at it right it has to look down or up to the screen to see every part of it easily. The button are in the weirdest places, having them on he bottom isn't bad, but the fact of how far spaced they are it's hard to tell which one is which.
Summary: The only place I saw this brand of monitor before was in a hardware store in Costa Rica. I've been using 4 of them in our office in Montreal for 3 months now and they are really impressive. Plus 3 years manufacturer warranty is pretty solid !!
