Summary: I finally got around to replacing my two old workhorse CRT monitors because one was starting to give up the ghost. I looked around and finally settled on these based on reviews from here and elsewhere. AOC must have been having a promotional as all the sites (including Amazon) had them for $130 each. Setup: The monitors are being used in a typical office/home setup - mounted on included pedestal and placed side-by-side on a desk.
Summary: i purchased 2 of these to use at work. they were easy to setup as well as preform nicely. There are a few downsides, but minor.. 1) small tilt anlge, 2) must use both hands to adjust tilt, 3) no vertical height adjustment.. on the up-side, i do "love" the direct (facing out) connectors, this design is great!!!
Summary: Having read the reviews, I knew the Amazon pictures were wrong. There is no HDMI or audio out port on this model, just VGA and DVI. Get past that, and you have a quality monitor that's easy to put together (part of the stand is sort of hidden in the box, taped to some styrofoam. My dad couldn't find it and swore the whole thing was defective... Just throwing that out there). The image is great, the monitor is really thin and light, and the stand is pretty stable.
