Summary: Im surprised how thin the monitor its, didnt realized how bad my past monitor was in contrast till i got this one. Base as a bit weak, but nothing to worry about if you handle it with care, to tilt you need to press a metal button underneath, i couldnt find the buttons they were on the base they are...
Summary: HDMI / DisplayPort input would be nice, but not necessarily needed.
Pros: Fantastic picture! I came from an old 20" lcd, and am currently using both that old one and this in a dual config. it puts my old monitor to shame. I LOVE how thin it is, and while it does seem to have a weak point at the junction between the monitor and the stand, I've brought it to several lan ...

Summary: I bought two of these monitors, one last week and I liked it so much I bought a second one this week !!! Be aware it has a laptop style external power supply (black - all the cables are black too).
Pros: I agree with the other reviewers this monitor is wonderfully bright and crisp and light weight! Very low power too... FYI - No bad pixels on either monitor... awesome !!! !!! GREAT PRICE !!!
Cons: NONE REALLY Would be nice if the cables were gray instead of black. Actually it would be nice if this monitor was ALL white. I get so tired of most computer equipment only being available in generic / corp. black !!! It would be great if computer manufactures offered more color choices.

Summary: I got the monitor and was at first lost since I was not aware of the invisible on button on the base. I had to call the tech service line to find it. The instruction manual graphics is not clear to the new user about the button.
Summary: The stand does not come off all the power and video plugs are all on the stand which will let you do -3 degrees or 12 degree viewing angles Read the book before you set it up because the stand locks into place for arm mounting
Pros: Thin and Light all the plugs are in the base when mounted makes even more sense with the touch power buttons Good Color and Refresh time for the price
Cons: the stand seems a bit flimsy when actually standing this monitor feels like it should be mounted
Summary: The issue that caused this monitor to ALMOST lose an egg is the color inadequacies. If you do not pair this monitor up against a higher quality one, or just do not care, then it is a very decent monitor for the price. NOTE: Read the directions ON THE BASE before trying to straighten the base.
Pros: Lots of pros: * Cheap! * Low power usage * VERY slim * Love plugging in cables to the base * Touch base is kinda cool
Cons: Biggest Con: Coloration. Coloration is pretty weird. If this is your only monitor you may not be able to notice, but next to my other monitor from a different brand, the colors on the AOC just do not look very vibrant and are actually messed up. The blues tend to stray towards purple and the reds...
Summary: I was bumbling around Fry's when I bumped into one of these 23" AOC monitors for a very attractive price. I'd been meaning to upgrade a 19" 5:4 Dell monitor at work, and the nice reviews combined with the value finally caused me to follow through.
