Summary: For price it's good but the image is very poor. It's washed out, like you've got the brightness too high. Pictures look like they are over exposed. No matter how I tweak the settings, text appears thin and grey instead of sharp and black. It'll do for now, but I would never get one again.
Summary: If you in the market for a monitor, regardless of its potential use I would be inclined to veer away from this one. My HP W22 which had been a fab monitor for 6 years finally blinked out of life and I needed a monitor quick. If you use it for web browsing and general office type things then I should be fine, but using it as I do for timelapse and photography it gives in-accurate colours as well as banded colours, not a smooth transition of gradients.
Summary: My old Samsung SyncMaster 173P died on me after 6 years of high quality display at 75hz. It was purchased for about £130 at the time. This AOC 2343F is the (now temporary) replacement. It was bought in a rush for £139 the next day because I didn't want to wait for delivery and needed to use my PC for work. It is awful compared to the Samsung from years ago. It's brighter in the bottom-left than anywhere else, and noticeably darker at the top. It only supports 60hz.
