Summary: I love this, one cable and the picture is great. Not for gaming but if you need email or many things open at the same time its a great deal. I have 4 monitors connected to a laptop, 2 using USB interfaces and they work great. This unit being only USB save you $50 bucks on the USB to VGA adapter plus the monitor cost.
Summary: I needed a mobile monitor for work and demos. I considered this piece simply because of fewer cords to attach and less items to store in my demo 'kit'..but my Toshiba Satellite video drivers and USB power were not sufficent with this item and I ended up buying a smaller traditional LCD also from AOC (after returning this to my local Wally spending less bucks!).
Summary: Ordered 2 these USB monitors, and used them in tandem with 2 other standard VGA flat screens to have a 4 display systems in total. The USB monitors flickered and blacked on and off with any Type of modern use, including loading applications and searching the web. Even typing in and loading a search on Walmart.com resulted in the USB monitors flickering out black, while my other 2 standard VGA monitors remained stable and not affected.
Summary: Works as advertised. Clear, clean image and only one USB cord. No additional power cord needed. It has a double USB (two-connectors) but my HP laptop had enough power in just the one USB port to drive the monitor. It is thin and very lightweight. I travel around the country as a charter bus driver and used to lug a 24'' LCD monitor in the beat up cardboard box it came in. This easily fits into my laptop pack.
Summary: I have had mine since first availability in May. The image is very clear and even and suitably bright. My two issues: the stand is a bit flimsy (slight desk movement causes substantial side-to-side display rocking), and the DisplayLink driver does not properly render certain application windows (IE and FF, for instance) in Win 7 Basic Display mode -- solved by switching to Aero. Highly recommended. price and service was spot on! Thanks.
