Summary: The first monitor I bought was $99 and for $99 yeah, it's worth it. The second monitor I bought was $150 and I only spent that much so I would have two of the same model monitors on my desk but nothing about this monitor is worth $150. I didn't realize until I got a new one and put it side by side with my old how much it faded in just one year. Side by side the new one was almost twice as bright as the old one.
Summary: I've tried two of theae monitors. While they aren't bad i decided not to give it a third try. The first one that i got (local, not Amazon) had a noticeable tilt on the base. It was off by about 15 degrees. The monitor worked all right, but for the price i didn't feel like i should have to shim up one side of it for it to sit level. Yes it seems like a small thing in print, but when you watch something on it, your eye keeps getting drawn to the incorrect horizon.
