Just what I wanted

John, Walmart
  • Summary: I was looking for a monitor that I could pack in my computer bag and use with my tablet remotely. That is just what I got. 16" monitor, USB plug in. Very clear and bright. I just plugged it in and it works great. Paid $8 for a 2 year warranty just in case.

This is not your Thunderbolt Display

I MH Golden, Amazon
  • Summary: This is not your Mac Thunderbolt Display - So I won't try and review at as such as some other people here have. For the price, and the portability this is a great monitor. I use a 2011 MacBook Air 11" Screen and I spend the majority of my life in Excel which can be a bit tough on my tiny screen...

Absolutely matches product description & ad.

GradStudent1, Walmart

  • Summary: As doctoral student who spends a great deal of time reading electronic docs and writing, I really benefit from the AOC USB Monitor. It is clear, light (portable), easy to use, and adaptable. Note, the stand itself is durable but it opens by turning on a swivel; always open properly with two hands.

AOC USB Monitor Perfect for Portability

Scarlet Voice, Amazon
12 May 2015
  • Summary: This USB-powered monitor met every expectation and then some. It is used in a remote multi-track recording suite and provided an easily used monitor in Europe (and now in the U.S.) without power system or cord concerns. The graphics are clear and vivid.

I find this portable monitor to be a delight! I think that the satisfaction is a function ...

Short Circuit, Amazon
27 April 2015
  • Summary: I find this portable monitor to be a delight! I think that the satisfaction is a function of perceived value and expectations. For $90 and some reviews that were not so great, my expectation were a bit low. I think that's why this delights me so very much. It's the perfect solution for my need.

with Apple MacPro

Hayel G., Newegg
25 March 2015
  • Pros: I am using this with Apple MacPro laptop. some complained about the brightness of the screen, I find it brighter than average, the picture is sharper than the MacPro screen, now the apple screen feels ugly :( remember if u using it with apple to install the driver before connecting the USB, and r...
  • Cons: no big things, but the monitor is a bit thicker than it's suppose to be. the USB connector on the monitor looks poor made, didn't try it for long to know the case exactly.

A portable monitor for under 100 bucks? perfect

jerrynatlga,, TigerDirect.com
11 February 2015
  • Summary: I am pleased with them monitor. It fits in the laptop sleeve I already had and is great when traveling to have the additional screen real estate. I do wonder why they chose the mini usb instead of the micro which is far more prevalent these days for attachment to the monitor but it is not all that...

perfect for portable work

Carson, Staples
22 January 2015
  • Excerpt: Like many peoople, I work remotely on occasion. The problem for me, is I am a power user, using a lot of apps concurrently. I am used to a pair of 24" monitors. So mobile work for me is a real grind. But, with a portable extra display that runs off the usb, I can throw it in my briefcase along with...
