Pros: Very nice monitor! looks sharp and doesn't glare like my old one did. I was building a new computer from the ground up and needed a cheap but decent looking monitor. I went with refurbished because they are cheaper and I've never had a problem with a refurbished item before.
Cons: Doesn't come with a d-sub to dvi adapter. I probably should have done more research before I bought it but I didn't notice it and I'm trying to alert anyone else who buys this that if your graphics card doesn't have a d-sub port on the back, buy an adapter first. I'm not taking off an egg for this because it was my fault for not looking more thoroughly.
Summary: for the price I am very happy I got rid of an old 15 inch deep monitor from the early 2000's this takes much less space and you can automatically (one button push) adjust the brightness/color to a dimmer screen for long term exposure.
Summary: Very clear, Good brilliance, My primary monitor is a 32" this sits next to it and allows me to check my bank accounts on one and update on the 2nd one. I download movies to this monitor and they are very clear.
