Summary: I didn't buy the product from Amazon, but it is the same monitor. I read reviews and I'm pretty sure there's a huge difference between the 2436vh and the 2436v. the vh has a much better viewing angle and a few other things. I have the 2436vh, and the 1920 x 1080 is beautiful! The viewing angle is also great. The only 3 things that I really don't like about it are the flimsy stand, the built in screen/sound controls, and the speakers.
Summary: I already had another of this monitor so I decided to add another one. If you work with any CAD program, these are for you. No buttons to push for adjustment, they are touch sensitive so no failing parts. Love them both.
Summary: Pros: The color is bright, I don't mind the menu format at all, and it's very crisp. Con: horrible, horrible viewing angles. I don't know what it is about this monitor that makes it so different from others I've used, but the angles are definitely not what the specs say (160 and 170). sitting 3 feet away, movement of 2 inches of height or 4 horizontal inches are all you need to not being able to see the true colors anymore.
Summary: We have two of these,,, Great bang for the buck, can't go wrong for the price ........................................................................................................................
Summary: I purchased this model recently at my local Best Buy as a door buster deal this past Black Friday, so I've been using it for about a week now. So far I'm very pleased with this display. Had a bit of a problem loading the drivers from the disc, so I just went to the AOC web sight and downloaded them from there. The touch sensitive buttons are nice but the pictures as explanations for the settings can be a little confusing at first.
Summary: Items came well packaged as described and on time. Product is actually quite impressive. Would purchase another pair or two. Although I considered returning them for financial reasons, seller was very cooperative, but I'm glad I did not return them.
Summary: I'm just your basic user and not an expert on monitor specs. I bought this monitor at OfficeMax this past Black Friday for $189.00. It's perfectly good. Brightness is fine. Love the 24". No bleed, no pixel problems, etc. Glossy finish looks nice. I use it at work and it makes me much more productive to have such a large monitor. I am happier at work using it. My colleagues are all jealous. I can recommend it.
Summary: I have an AOC 2436 at work, and am very underwhelmed by it. It has a terrible amount of light bleed, especially in the bottom right corner. I work on the computer all day, and to keep eye strain down, tend to keep a black background with grey text, so the light bleed is very annoying, because the "black" really glows. The light bleed isn't consistent over the panel either, it is primarily in the bottom right. The viewing angles are also terrible.
