Summary: If you plan on getting this because it has speakers, save your money on the speaker option, and go with the G276HLGbd.
Pros: Good picture. Web pages are clear and easily readable, and and video seems good. Good monitor
Cons: Pick this one for my office as it had built in speakers and I wanted less stuff on the desk. I've had several monitors that have had built in speakers. This one is clearly the worse. Little volume control and incredibly tinny audio.
Summary: The monitor works well. There is NO HDMI port on the monitor but that isn't really important for me. The monitor comes with a 3.5mm audio cable that plugs into the monitor for its speakers. The monitor is really bright and also comes with a VGA cable and DVI cable.
Summary: Bought it because I already own a 22 inch acer monitor which is a very good display bought in 2009 and still working good in the living room. This one I bought to use in home office setup to connect the work laptop and my main PC, since the newer model is glossy and reflective.
Pros: Non glossy, non reflective, integrated power supply unit, low power consumption and square base. Exactly what I was looking for. No dead pixels. Built in speakers are useful when speakers are not on or headphones are not handy.
Cons: Colors on the display are totally unacceptable. Tried different settings. Still no luck. Netflix plays in a resolution worse than standard definition.
Summary: Monitor was not as advertised on the amazon web site. It said the monitor came with a dvi connection, vga connection, and an hdmi connection. When the monitor was received, there was NO hdmi connector on the back.
Summary: For the price, you cannot beat this monitor. The brightness is a little too high out of the box, but you can always lower that. No bad pixels, size is perfect for home office, and very good clarity on the screen when reading fine letters.
