Summary: This monitor is one of the best I've seen for its price. The color and image are beautiful and setup is easy and straightforward. Touch works perfectly. Only possible objection is that it is at a more or less fixed height and angle.
Summary: I purchased this item to pair with a Windows 7 OS for a visually impaired co worker. Its important to know that when pairing this with a OS 7 machine you must connect the USB cable before you boot up the computer and monitor. This tip came from another reviewer. The quality of the display exceeded my expectations. The graphics are clear and bright. The design of the monitor is somewhat poor.
Summary: I bought my first PC monitor in 1989 and cost a fortune. It was a top of the line 1024x768 Sony .25 dot pitch. It is amazing to see this Acer and recall those CRT days. This monitor works flawless, and meets all expectations. I love the touch screen, but one thing to consider is that to drag from one part of the screen to the other is a long was to move a finger. This is a huge monitor. Watching HDTV content is perfect as well.
Summary: Not even a year old and it already broke. Just stopped working one day. I assume it is the power supply but not very reliable. Also, slow refresh rate and resolution is not that great for its physical size.
Summary: Just got this in last night. Hooked it up and found that touchscreen did not work. At first I thought it was an issue with Windows Server 2008 R2 being the OS but it also did not work with Windows 8.1 and Windows 7. Just when I was about to blow a fuse I decided to do some checking if it might be the KVM switch. Bingo. Looking for a new KVM switch that will work with touchscreens now. Not the monitors fault.
Summary: Tough act to follow; when I first bought my new-er PC, I plugged it into a Sony 32" smart TV...great sound. Eventually, we wanted to move the TV back to where the kids use it for their games, so I needed a monitor. This one works great...just can't believe such a nice monitor would come with speakers that could be trumped by my 1970 transistor radio. I plugged in a set of 15-yr-old Sony computer speakers, and solved the issue. You gets what you pays for!
Be weary of factory refurbished units and lack of software support

Summary: The refurbished version comes without any software support and lousy manuals, including online manuals. It has 90 days of hardware warranty only. And the online drivers lack installation instructions. Lastly, I was shorted out one cable. Acer needs to make far better manual for this product. I wasted 8 hours on this product.
