Summary: I've been pretty pleased with the monitor with the exception that the sound does not work at all. [Update: See below] I've tried the sound from the laptop and a phone, but no go. That said, the monitor and touchscreen has worked pretty well in my extended environment of a laptop running Ubuntu Linux desktop with a Windows 7 VirtualBox virtual environment. Setup: Laptop to left of screen.
Summary: We use this for the cash register in our small business. It is very responsive, you literally don't even have to touch the screen before it responds to the heat of you finger, it's that sensitive. Works great for us.
Summary: Excellent price for a touch screen. Works fine. Every once in a while I get a horizontal line that scrolls from top to bottom of the screen. That is at 59 hertz setting; disappears at 60 hertz setting but I lose a lot of screen use on the left and right, top to bottom. Not sure what the problem is, a restart makes it go away and it doesn't happen all the time. Other than that, it was a great price for a large touch-screen monitor and it works just fine.
Summary: This is one of four Acer monitors in my home. It is welt built and heavy. It has a verl sleek apperance but the touch screen feature I barely use. It works fine but it is not comfortable to use. even though this baby can tilt forward it does not do so enough to releav pressure from your rist. If you like monitors that can rotate frome side to side it also has this feature but I have not found it usefull.
Summary: I am an older retired lady who just decided to get a toy. I sure was not and I mean not disappointed in this monitor. I read all of the reviews and at first I was a little edgy on buying it because of some of the reviews. Here is my list of why to buy. 1. The service was terrific in getting it to me 2. Ease of setup fantastic 3. NO NO dropped pixels. 4. No green background in the black. Colors are very good. 5. Used auto set up and I didn 't have to do a thing. 6.
Summary: The first thing you will notice is how well constructed this monitor is. The base isn't cheap plastic-it's metal and it makes the monitor very stable while you are engaged in touching the screen. The color and clarity of this monitor is also excellent. I'm betting that you will like it as much as I do. (Quick note: to make the touchscreen work you have to have the USB plugged in along with the monitor cord..).
Summary: I purchased this screen after searching high and low for a touch enabled computer monitor. With the size, and the price (expensive for a monitor, but cheap for a touch screen) I couldn't resist. The screen is great, good build quality and feels real solid. The mount is great and eye catching. Overall, it's a great looking monitor. The video quality, even on a built in VGA port it produces excellent picture quality and sharpness.... BUT only if you look at it directly.
Summary: Great monitor! I plugged it in to a Windows Vista machine and it basically installed itself. Touch screen works great, picture is great! Looking forward to upgrading to Windows 7 to take advantage of more touch screen functionality. You cannot beat this monitor for the price. Also, it was shipped in two days (free shipping) and arrived on Christmas Eve! Phenomenal deal all around! I also use it as a television with an HDMI equipped cable box and it works great!
