Summary: Let me begin with this; I love this monitor! I purchased this on Amazon Warehouse Deals prior to the building of a new system I was planning on using it with. As such, I was getting a little angsty to test this out. There were some reviews for this product that complained about dull colours and limp blacks, and having to wait for the return and replace period after building my brand new computer would have been heartbreaking. As such, I tested it on my old laptop.
Oustanding Desktop monitor, but be aware no VESA mount

Summary: The reviews written here are all on the mark. The build quality feels great, it's stylish, minimalist, and the picture is the best of the monitor's I've tried. My only complaint is that the screen doesn't have VESA mounting points, and therefore can't be mounted on a stand or wall. This wasn't an issue when I bought them, as I intended for them to be on the desk, but having just decided to put them on a stand, I now need to replace these sadly and find units I can mount.
Summary: I don't normally write reviews, but I thought I should as I was sceptical about buying Acer monitors. I use Dell 24inch monitors at work which obviously cost a lot more but they are only slightly better. I think for the money these Acer monitors are fantastic. They are light, slim and the picture quality is good. I bought two to use together for graphic work etc. they seem well balanced.
Summary: The monitor is really good value. The only grip are the limited printed instructions. You have to connect the moniot and go view the full instructions. However once you have got the hang of the control panel set up is easy. The display using VGA is really good but the display using DVI is even better. Have not used HDMI yet.
Summary: Have it in my room for 2 months now. So far no problems compared to some other reviews stating that they have dead pixels. I believe that for the price, this screen is doing a pretty good job. It is slim, takes little space and has both VGA and HDMI input. Additionally, it detects the input for you automatically so that you dont need to do it manually. Just like a "Plug & play" Some people dislike the way the buttons were placed.
Summary: I wasn't sure what to expect when spending so little money on a nice big monitor, but the reviews were almost uniformly positive, so I took the plunge. This monitor is just fantastic: the picture is clear, crisp and even; the controls are no more awkward than any monitor; the actual unit is very thin and surprisingly small for its size (if you see what I mean).
Summary: I bought this to use as a second monitor for my MacBook Pro. I am really happy with it! Set up was easy just connected it up via HDMI through a Thunderbolt-HDMI adaptor and it was good to go! Set the position of your screens in system prefs and you are laughing. The screen itself is a good size and nice and bright. The only criticisms is that the buttons and menus are painfully slow to navigate. But thats not really a problem.
Summary: Having used a square 19" monitor for a number of years I was very unsure of what to expect when I ordered this monitor, yeah I did read the forum reviews etcetera but I was still wary. This monitor is excellant value for money, even thinner than my old flat screen and less weight. The forums generally moaned about the buttons being hidden underneath the frame and the on/off switch being hard to find.
Summary: This is my first monitor ive bought(apart from the standard that came with desktop) and I wanted it for HD video and games. It is very good. nice and slim so it fits on my corner desk and the picture is clear and crisp.
Summary: Given the great reviews at the time I purchased I was a little disappointed by some things I discovered about the monitor. PROS The price when I purchased - just under £150 - was good compared to many other monitors. The black surround makes it very good for watching movies. No glare worries due to the matte screen. HDMI, DVI and VGA inputs. CONS I find the controls quite fiddly to use.
