Summary: There's nothing really wrong with this monitor... it's just... cheap. If you can find it on sale and you need an inexpensive monitor to fill a need then by all means get this. Otherwise, there are larger, nicer monitors for, literally, a few dollars more; even at the sale price.
Pros: Good size Bright/Crisp Image Rear facing inputs HDMI and DVI inputs (cables included too) Thin
Summary: You can find 2k monitors for around the same price as this one so.... yeah.
Pros: The pros are that this is easy on the eyes, easy to set up, the response time is nice, and using this with a gaming console was a new experience. Normally I would buy Asus before Acer but this product is pretty solid and very easy to clean with a 50/50 ratio of distilled white vinegar and water.
Cons: I bought this monitor in 2012 and it is still the exact same price in 2015 - seriously 1080p? I no longer game via consoles anymore so this is not an issue for me, but figuring out how to get sound out of my xbox was a pain as there are no built in speakers. I know, I know, that would make it a s...
Pros: Seemed like a good monitor for the price. Now 5 months in, the back light in the upper right it out and just like previous posts I have to ship it back for repair. We'll see if they are able to fix.
Summary: This is a low budget/quality monitor. It's plastic/flimsy but then again it's cheap so that is to be expected. Don't expect to spend more than an hour at a time sitting in front of this monitor because your eyes will hurt from the excessive light bleeding and blurry text.
Pros: It's cheap, light, cheap, thin, cheap, runs cool, cheap, and antiglare coating is almost unnoticeable.
Cons: Bright. Colors are way off. Settings menu is archaic. Flimsy construction.
Summary: The contrast on this display is poor, making for eyestrain if reading or working with text for a whole day. I bought this for my home office but was disappointed. The contrast was not noticeably better than my old HP w22 display.
Summary: I have received my monitor and as everyone states it looks AWESOME before turning it on. There is an HDMI And a DVI out. It does tilt.. but not very much. The problem I am having is twofold. One, because the tilt isn't very much, unless you are at the exact right angle it looks weird.
Good price and resolution, but washed out colors, and bad viewing angles
30 July 2011
Summary: Let's start with the positives: -Nice resolution and pretty good contrast ratio -Lightweight and thin -LED backlight helps save on energy $$$ -Very affordable price Now the negatives: -The colors are very washed out and there are no good settings to fix it (even on the "warm" setting, the colors are...
Summary: Pros: The monitor is great/quality is higher than most monitors in this price range Cons: Amazon shows a picture of the back of the monitor and shows an audio out but the model doesn't come with an audio out! The model that amazon puts as its main picture isn't the acutal model you'll be buying.
25% off these monitors I've purchased have an unfortunate fainting issue
Andrew Moore, Amazon
8 January 2011
Summary: These are pretty monitors, they're light, and they have excellent saturation, especially under the Graphics color profile... but so far 2 of the 8 that I've purchased for work have a problem with just "blanking out" to a black screen briefly. This happens when connected via VGA and DVI.
