Summary: This monitor just has terrible colors. I recently acquired a few Dell Ultrasharp IPS monitors and have them next to the Acer, and WOW! It makes the Acer look SO BAD. I have always struggled to calibrate the Acer to be accurate and have never been satisfied, but didn't realize how bad it was until I put it next to the Dell monitors.
Summary: The monitor is good but no where in the available information did it state that it did not have built in speakers. I have bought several monitors over the years and they all had built in speakers. I had to but a set of external speakers to allow use of my computer as I normally use it.
Summary: I was hesitant to order this monitor refurbished, but the positive reviews gave me the final push to buy one for myself. The delivery time was excellent, coming in two days ahead of schedule, but when I finally opened the box I was very disappointed. The screen had scratches and smudges and the plastic border was splitting apart along the bottom. I will be returning this and will instead spend an extra $20+ to buy a brand new one from another merchant.
Excerpt: Great picture on the store display but... directions for getting started are almost non-existent. The stand would not attach fully so the monitor was NOT secured and would not stay vertical. Took it back finally. Not worth my money.
Summary: we plugged it in and it worked great for two weeks...and then completely shut down... we are faced with taking it to the computer gurus and paying double for the acer or justing calling it a bad deal
Summary: When I first hooked up this monitor to my computer, it blew me away. Not only was it extremely light, but the quality was astounding. However, within two weeks of owning this monitor, it began to flicker uncontrollably at its native resolution of 1920x1080. I tried to troubleshoot the issue, but to no avail. Support confirmed that this was a hardware issue and now I have to ship the monitor all the way to Texas from the Northeast out of my own pocket.
