Summary: I bought this to replace a Samsung monitor I purchased several years ago. The "sleep circuit" on the Samsung died in a way which prevented me from turning it on and off any more. Hopefully this monitor does not have the same problem five years down the road. It was exactly what I expected, and has been working since it was installed without incident.
Summary: Bought it because of the price. I made a build with a $500 limit including peripherals. I always wanted an IPS but it just wasn't in the budget. This one, though, I'm happy with. It's a great monitor for the price. I'm sure I could have forked over another $30-50 and got something IPS and thus, much better but I still like this monitor. My only issues are the buttons. They're on the bottom with no indications and are very confusing.
Excerpt: I bought two of these monitors operating as dual screens on a win 7 system. One operates as a digital through an HDMI port and the other as an analogue through a VGA port. The clarity and definition on both are very good.
Summary: This was my third monitor and I found it excellent for the price. It if a inexpensive monitor, but has a brilliant display and was quite easy to set up. So far there have been no glitches and I can recommend this monitor for general use.
