Summary: As mentioned in another review, the screen is tilted slightly forward (I have yet to figure out why), and loosening the nuts to undo this is proving impossible: none of my open-ended wrenches of needle nose pliers are small or thin enough to work. So we're still using the low-tech approach, and keeping a small notepad under the front of the foot. Seems to me there should be a better option. Other than that, it is an excellent screen. I'm pleased.
Summary: I bought this monitor (Acer S201HL) as a second monitor for a PC used to control the audiovisual system in a mid-sized church. The display is crisp and bright, displayed images are sharp and stable, the monitor is light and easy to move, and it works reliably -- what else can you ask for? There are sharper monitors available, but not in the same price range. The Acer is a good quality monitor at a very reasonable price.
Summary: The monitor arrived early, only a few days after placing my order. It was well padded in the package, and had no scratches or mars anywhere on it. Works perfectly, bright screen and good definition, it performs just like it is supposed to. I am very happy with the service and product.
Summary: I've been using this for over a month. It hooked up and worked w/o any real glitches so far, except that it's too bright, even at the dimmest setting; and the menus are real awkward. (The buttons are counterintuitive and not really labeled.) I've had the monitor at pretty much the dimmest setting since I've had it. For some reason it seems to be getting brighter gradually. Not much of a problem in daylight, but at night it's a bit much on the eyes.
