Acer doesn't stand behind its products... If it is defective, you will be paying to return.

Summary: I purchased this product on 12/5/2012. It stopped working on 11/15/2013. I contacted Acer only to find that my only option is to send the product back in a separate box then the one it came in (why would i still have the original anyway...). The cost of the shipping and appropriate packing must be paid for me. So I have to pay likely more than 1/4 of the cost of the original product to ship back a defective product. I was told there were no other options.
Summary: In the store, this monitor was impressive, especially viewing at wide angles. But it does not work with my Mac, could not adjust above 480p resolution. May do fine with PCs. Good thing Best Buy has no restocking fee. It is going back.
