Summary: This product arrived defective, with a flickering screen full of persistent artifacts. The build quality is incredibly poor for such an expensive item; the exterior plastic of the monitor was loose to the touch, flexible, and felt incredibly cheap. I couldn't be more disappointed and will be avoiding Acer products in the future.
Summary: This monitor is like all other LCDs in that it's really really bright. When you turn the brightness down below about 80 percent you can hear a distinct ring from the backlight if the room is quiet and you're young enough to still hear that frequency. Other monitors do not do this. The 120Hz is overrated. You can barely tell the difference in video games and the 3D isn't very exciting either. The gun you're holding is really the only thing that stands out.
Summary: The monitor arrived with the DVI input dead, it transmits a signal, but the EDID is GONE, so this don't work at all. I expected a better approach from Acer about this, i thought that they would cover you even if you're not in the US, now i have to pay for my repair because im at LATAM, also any Acer representative gave me some feedback or at least offered me a solution. I would never buy an Acer product again.
Summary: I bought this as if it was 3D vision 2 compatible; however, in order for Acer to sell this model, they decided to make the model and serial numbers very tricky. The HN274H BMD is supposed to be 3D vision 2 compatible ; however, the HN274H BMIIID is not, and is only 3D vision 1 compatible. Not cool, Acer. Especially with the manufacture date similarity between both models.
