Summary: Returning mine because the angle at which the screen sits has the front of it it pointing downward at about 10 degrees. Just enough to be annoying. Otherwise it was a pretty good screen but really too big. I'm already at maximum resolution on a 24" and moving to a 27" just made all the windows and text kind of "jumbo" and I had to actually move my head left and right as I read some things (instead of just my eyes). The sound is VERY tinny.
Summary: Extremely happy with this display. Was able to achieve the rich and natural image quality one expects from a good monitor with very little tweaking and calibration. No defective pixels or frustrating back light bleed. This will be the third display I've owned from Acer and I'm happy to say that the excellent quality has remained consistent. Very comfortable viewing while both gaming and designing ads in Photoshop. It's aesthetically beautiful while mounted as well.
Summary: I bought this monitor on the advice of several before me that bought one. They were right the colors are brilliant and the letters are crisp. It is a tremendous buy for the money. You will NOT regret buying this monitor! The only gripe I have is with the configuration selector buttons. They take a bit to get used to. Small price to pay for such performing quality!
Summary: This is my first big monitor so I didnt know what to expect. I have to say that this is a great monitor. The price was easy on the wallet and they delivered it on time. I love this thing and can't believe I waited this long to make the switch. I am very happy and would recommend this to anybody who wants to relaxe and read without having to strain to see the screen.
Summary: I love the picture, it is great however, the sound sucks! Someone already reported the sound was like a transistor radio but that needs an additional comment. It sounds like a transistor radio with very little volume. I cannot stand it and will take it back and try another one.
Summary: Purchased this at Best Buy for $299. This monitor is awesome. I had trouble finding a large monitor with VESA mounts on it, and just so happened to come across this at one of our local stores. The crispness of viewing everything is astonishing. I have only had my PC connected to it. It shows colors vibrantly in games and is great looking for doing PC stuff.
Summary: Bought this at Costco just before Christmas for $199.00 and expected a $199.00 monitor. It has turned into a nice surprise that I feel brings a lot more value than the price indicates. Last night I played the first 10 minutes of District 9 and liked what I saw. FYI I am running a new PC with the NVIDIA 4800 card so any issues are going to be monitor generated.
Summary: Being a 3D artist working in the Print industry, color and screen space are extremely important to me. Sure you can spend 700 - 1500 on a large Monitor with exceptional color accuracy but who wants to shell out that kind of dough when there are so many expenses associated with being a professional digital artist anyway. I picked up this monitor on sale for 250.00 USD at Best Buy *I sure was surprised that I got a good deal there*. Color looked great right out of the box.
