Summary: The Acer H243H is a significant value. The picture quality is excellent, with zero dead pixels on arrival, and I have had two of these for almost 2 years now, and I still have zero dead pixels. "Clear, Fast & Accurate Colours.. fatal tragedy ends ok!"
19 November 2010
Pros: Everything works just fine - colour is great - fast; no lag noticeable - very bright, looks great even with the lights turned on - no mirrored reflection (like CRTs) - very light - all cables included - very strong
Cons: It has cons. Cmon price is too low, but its still a good product - no mirror reflections but it reflects light sources (watch the angle) - touch buttons are tricky - lack of configurations (very general) - built in speakers are not great, they do ok
Summary: It's a great monitor and looks great with my Acer Desktop. The reason I bought it is that it is better quality than Dell, HP, Gateway and others. Acer seems to stand up better in this salty island environment too!
Summary: I recently upgraded from a 19" standard screen on my Dell desktop to the Acer 24" Widescreen. This monitor is great, I would recomend it to anyone. I can't believe the resolution and clarity that I got out of this monitor. I use AutoCad drafting software and the widescreen makes the viewing/workarea super big and easy to use. I should have got one of these years ago.
