Summary: I payed $200 for it on Black Friday, 2009. So I have had it 4 years and it is still working perfectly. Beautiful picture with no bad pixels. My only complaint, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it takes a really annoyingly long to come on. From the time I hit the power switch or the time it comes out of power savings mode, it is 10 seconds before I see my display. Our old LCD flat screen monitors in the past would come on almost instantly.
Summary: Image is good but I dont really like the menu/screen adjustments. The size and brightness are nice. I did not like that I could not plug my headphones into it but overall its a decent screen. I don't regret my purchase. If the price is right, buy it.
Summary: So far, everything about this item is what I needed and wanted. The one major deficiency is that there's no vidcam or mike built in. Everything else is very nice. good color and brightness. Rapid response time.
Summary: Ive always had good results with Acer Monitors I believe that they are usually better than most brands for the price... My first choice the G245Hbmid was not available at the time so I went with the H243bmid and im 99% satified with the performance.. and as far as Im concerned I thinks its as good as TN monitors gets. No backlight bleeding, no dead pixel, excellent black level, bright clear colors. A grossly underated product IMHO. One of the best TN monitor out there..
Summary: Good design. Comes with HDMI cable. Good product. Definitely worth the money. Just one comment. I don't know why manufacturers are making more 1920x1200 instead of 1920x1080. 1920x1080 is just good for movie but that's it. It is not good for web surfing, word, etc...
Summary: I upgraded to this monitor from an Acer 19" widescreen based on the quality experience I had with that device. This monitor is no different - a great value. Pros: Great picture. After updating my video drivers I am now running at 1080p and all that extra real-estate pays off when working in Adobe Illustrator. I no longer feel cramped and the tunnel-vision experience that was kicking in with the 19" I previously used is gone.
