Summary: I use two of these connected to my desktop computer so I can working on multiple applications and also turn one of them toward my loveseat so I can watch videos from across the room. Quality is excellent and I've had no trouble with them at all.
Summary: The Acer H243H is a significant value. The picture quality is excellent, with zero dead pixels on arrival, and I have had two of these for almost 2 years now, and I still have zero dead pixels. The original price, when new, was about 225 dollars and although there were cheaper monitors available, there were few that came close to matching the specs and none that matched the value (I found very little choice on 24 inch monitors with VGA, DVI, and HDMI inputs and zero that...
Summary: I payed $200 for it on Black Friday, 2009. So I have had it 4 years and it is still working perfectly. Beautiful picture with no bad pixels. My only complaint, and the reason I didn't give it 5 stars, is that it takes a really annoyingly long to come on. From the time I hit the power switch or the time it comes out of power savings mode, it is 10 seconds before I see my display. Our old LCD flat screen monitors in the past would come on almost instantly.
Summary: I bought this monitor used from a guy for $150.00 just as a temporary solution because i was building my high performance rig at the time and needed something for posting on and getting my OS up and running. When he took it out of the box it was BIG and dusty. I bought it anyway got it back to my dorm and as soon as i started cleaning i was amazed. The surfaces are truly gloss black and the monitor is very appealing.
Summary: Image is good but I dont really like the menu/screen adjustments. The size and brightness are nice. I did not like that I could not plug my headphones into it but overall its a decent screen. I don't regret my purchase. If the price is right, buy it.
