Summary: Having owned Acer monitors exclusively for several years now I am quite pleased with this model, with the exception of one dead pixel. Hardly enough to return it as the hassle outweighs the benefits. The power button also needs a firm press for power on an doff action. But is is a beautiful monitor those issues not withstanding.
Summary: Got this as a work replacement. For the price you get a competent monitor. The only real negative is the incredibly short stand. In fact, it's comically short and not adjustable. The monitor is raised two inches above the desk.
Summary: had an incident with this monitor and it fell off my desk and only came out with a few scratches on the bezel, very sturdy panel and material. next time ill spend the money for a real monitor stand, my other monitor wasnt so lucky and got destroyed
Pros: great monitor for the price when i got it, not one out pixel, has handled all my games will without any problems for over a year now, if your looking for a great balance between cost and quality this is it.
Cons: should have looked at this before i bought it but no vesa mount and no real adjustments with the stand.
Summary: I just bought a second monitor for a dual monitor setup. I didn't realized people were having problems with the viewing angle and whiteout. Now I can notice it since I read the reviews (thanks.) This monitor was a definite upgrade compared to my old laptop. I'll just look at the bad reviews as first world problems and move on with my life.
Summary: Good monitor for general use. I will say my 23" Acer is a little sharper and has a better viewing angle, but unless they are side by side I doubt I could tell the difference. I would assume a photographer might not like it as much, but I think most users will be more than happy with this and enjoy the money saved.
