Summary: I'm using ACER G235 with my notebook and it does not work as expected: with 1920x1080 resolution. It has left and right dark areas (approximately 1 inch) and there is no way to fix this. ACER is not compatible with AMD video card.
Summary: I'm currently using 2 of these and a p235H (older model) in Nvidia surround and have been for the last 2 years. They run things fine as you would expect at this price point but the color is terrible. I would HIGHLY suggest spending a couple extra bucks and getting a monitor with better color.
Summary: I got this refurbished and it is a really good price for something this big and crystal clear. It was the best priced monitor for its size at the time of purchase. Please note that this is technically larger than a 23" screen, but it can't be listed as a 24" because it is just under that mark. Yes, the settings are a little weird to navigate, but there are pictures and words (in English) to help you with it.
Summary: I thought that I had a good deal. when I opened the package it had a very strong odd plastic odor but I blew that off. I hooked it up and ran it about 30 minutes and it QUIT. Then the odd odor became a HOT PLASCTIC ODOR......IT SMOKED ITSELF. I can't fault Walmart but I don't believe this thing was ever refurbished by the contractor that was SUPPOSED REBUILD IT. No problem with the return as aways, Walmart was gracious. PS: I bought a new DELL.
Summary: This by and large the best buy I have ever made for my self , the quality and ease of veiwing has made my computer so much easer to use I am glad I bought this unit. Installation was a breeze and was up and running in no time. A very good buy.!!
Summary: You need to download the manual from Acer because it did not come with it since it was refurbished but that was easy to do and helped us figure out how to adjust the settings. Oher than that is works great and has a really good display.
