Summary: After all of this time using it, I'm extremely satisfied. I've never had a single problem with it. I have two dead pixels, one at the very bottom of the screen and one at the very top. You have to LOOK for them to even see them.
Pros: Absolutely fantastic looking display. So bright that accuracy for photos really requires you to turn it down a little bit. I've never noticed ghosting with any games I've played, all at 1680x1050 if the option is available(hundreds of games, I'm a tester). The clarity and dotpitch are amazing. Th...
Cons: I got mine when it came out in 2006 from newegg for a way higher price than today. Really not a con, in fact it's great that the price has dropped so much. I would like to get another one now that they aren't $549/each.
Summary: If you've been wanting a red monitor to complement your rig, this one is definitely a great buy. Slightly dated now in 08', but still a STUNNING monitor and worth every penny.
Pros: Best looking gloss monitor on the market, bar none. Very high quality gloss, could pass for CRT 'glass' look any day of the week. The paint and finish on the stand are excellent and the controls for the monitor are intuitive and easy to use. Up and running out of the box with no issues at all, no...
Summary: Ghosting is a thing of the past. Now it seems lcd's are starting to "fuzz" for lack of better terms. High res games are now fuzzy when movement occurs. Objects in game are undefined until movement stops.
Pros: Crisp, smooth looking screen that almost looks wet. Minimal ghosting of games at 1680x1050.
Cons: Programs that do not support widescreen resolutions get a distored image and just plain looks like hell. Most programs are now widescreen compatible, or have patches to make them compatible with wide screens.
Summary: Newegg lowered the price immediately after I ordered it, but that happens. I plan to order a second one to match it. I get lots of compliments on this LCD because it really is the best looking LCD I've used.
Pros: I absolutely love this LCD. The response time is great, the color is fantastic. I had to turn the brightness down a bit, but even all the way up, the colors are vibrant and clear. The gloss screen is really what sold me on this LCD, but when I got it, the clarity, the quality of the stand, the aw...
Cons: I could see how the gloss screen could get annoying if you were in a overly bright room or outside. But most people aren't.I had 1 dead pixel but it's in the corner and doesn't bother me.
Summary: I didn't pay for it, so I can't comment on its price, but overall this and the non-ferrari model are at the top of the list of best-looking LCD monitors. If you're looking for style, this is a good choice.
Pros: My workplace mistakenly ordered this one instead of the non-ferrari one. It is aesthetically beautiful. Everyone in the office complements it when the see it. :-) The OSD is pretty straightforward and it has an Auto-Adjust feature, which is really nice when you have 3-4 machines connected to it v...
Cons: Built-in speakers are pretty weak, but I wanted an LCD, not a stereo, so I didn't care. Cable ports are very hard to reach. You have to open this little "door" that's on the mount to get the cables through, but it's small even for small hands. Lots of button presses to switch between DVI and VGA ...
Summary: Get this monitor...it will look stupendous sitting at your computer desk without a doubt!
Pros: This monitor has like some kind of protective layer on the screen causing a CRT-like reflective surface...completely awesome! Image quality is incredible, almost overwhelmingly so!
Cons: I do have to agree with some of the other reviewers in that the Ferrari emblem could have been made with a little more quality, other than basically a sticker. But not even close to being a Big Deal.
Summary: This display will be causing me to upgrade the motherboard/CPU/Memory this summer to handle the HDR source engine. Currently running an AMD 3500+ 2GB OCZ DDR, and an AGP overclocked X800 pro card.
Pros: This is one beautiful display. Excellent picture, no dead pixels, Handles native, and scaled resolutions very well. As always Newegg delivered promptly. Using the DVI connection from an ATI X800 pro. No ghosting, fast response time, and just drop dead gorgeous color. I've a custom built Ferrari c...
Cons: For next gen HDR games, you need some serious hardware to push this at native resolution.
